I think it's a very nice wallpaper.. However, it's been done hundreds of times. go to http://www.digitalblasphemy.com and check out the public libraries, you'll find lots of good wallpapers that look very similar to yours. Since this isn't primarily a wallpaper site, they are a bit pickier here than at other sites. I do think it's a nice wall though.
Straight from the FAQ here on this site: Level 2: WinCustomize registered user. These are users who have created accounts. Accounts are free to create. Registered users can create posts, talk on the message boards, submit skins, make comments on skins, participate on polls, etc. In the future, there will be a cap on how many megabytes of content they can download without some sort of limitation being placed (such as being put into a download queue). Seeing as your user number i
You can't display images from your HD. You'll have to upload it somewhere that you can link to from here. Try uploading the image as your screenshot so we can see what you are talking about. Are you using a registered copy of WB? Were you having these problems with earlier versions of WB? Do you have problems with ALL skins or only a couple? If only certain skins which ones cause you the problems? I'm sure you'll be able to get the help you need here. Just be patien
better safe then sorry a wise man once said I couldn't agree more, which is why I run NAV at home as well as ZA and AdAware. I do however think that it's important to understnad the tools you use and not just blindly trust that they know best. Imagine if Koasati didn't know a little extra about Norton, and after getting the alert from S
No, definitely not. I would think that 90% of the users out there who are running Norton will never even see that error outside the context of a virus that is actually trying to do something harmful to their system. In which case Norton will do exactly what it should and everyone is happy. However, I don't think that the people who use DX fall into that 90% user group, and if they do then perhaps the scripts that need to store data should do so in a way that does not cause AV scanners to go berz
Just another Norton false alarm It's more like Norton a$$uming that everyone who uses their product needs their hand held in every aspect of their computer use.. I do lots of scripting at work and it became painfully obvious VERY early on that NAV was not going to cut it as an AV scanner on that system. Every time I wrote a script that created an
Heh, Norton thinks that EVERY script you try to run is malicious. It's not. just tell NAV to ignore this script always. Chances are since it's a version of the Appt. script it's creating FileSystem objects and NAV is assuming that it is going to do something like files or something like that. If the script were actually malicious there would have been lots of reports from other users and the object would have been removed. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/smile.gif" border=0
Looks to me like all they did was remove some of the detail you have in your screenshots.. I would think that any admin worth his salt would notice these are rips and would remove them immediately!! Good Luck Juni!
I don't believe there is currently a way to provide proxy information to the weather objects. This was a topic a while back. If you are behind a proxy that requires every request to be authenticated you may just be out of luck as far as using any of the objects that require web access. Good Luck!
I must admit I was a little miffed that $1 was the *discount* offered to existing ODNT subscribers. However, I'm relatively happy with the updates I've seen to the products lately and my solution to the aquarium issue was simply not to buy it.
it's probably best to ask this in either the Support Forum Here: https://www.wincustomize.com/msgboard.asp?BID=WCH or send an e-mail to Stardock support at [email protected]
and it's finxed...
Me thinks the top section of the GUI Olympics site needs updating... )
Also, unless the skin says it has toolbar support it won't skin those buttons. Sometimes the skinner is running a different app such as Y'z toolbar to replace those images or they have created toolbar icons that they can't distribute. Of course this only applies if as carolelee says you are using the full version of WB.
I've gotten several from different addresses at Stardock, including one that said it was from Kris. I sent him an e-mail and he replied telling me that there are some viruses out there that are apparently using Stardock addresses in the from field. Hopefully it will subside soon.
Am I deluding myself dabe, perhaps. Fact is, if Thunderbird gets popular enough to attract the attention of enough hackers and security experts they will find ways to exploit it. Until then you're probably safe! )
well, what does the error say?
Depends on what the card is and what you want to do with WFX.. If you stick to simple things like shadows you should be able to run it fine but if you want to do window animations and all that you'll find anything but a fairly high-end ATI video card will be laggy. I have a 128 MB GeForce 4 Ti 4600, running on a 2.53 GHz P4 w/ 1.5 GB of system memory and WFX brings it to it's knees when I try to use window animations or some of the more advanced WFX toys!! I think I'll be ditching NVIDI
use the TweakUI power toy, it has an option to rebuild the icon cache. [Message Edited]
I'm in total agreement!
Heh, if I remember correctly there was a big stink not too long ago caused by a wallpaper that had an innocuous looking leaf on it that some felt too closely resembled that of marijuana.. I also remember a big stink caused by a wallpaper that portrayed a pack of camel cigarettes. I think if you want to create works with *adult* centric material you'd probably be best off if you didn't try to post it here. While most may not be offended, the folks who are will be far more vocal. p
check out http://www.digitalblasphemy.com. I'm not sure if the dual-screen renders are only for members but I do know he has quite a few dual-screen walls to choose from. I use them myself at work. Good Luck!
There are tons of what monitor/res are you running threads here. Take a look and you might find that 19" is rather the low end anymore. Especially for people who make their livings sitting at a computer. And 1280X1024 is actually pretty big if you ask me. Try 1600X1200 or my personal favorite 1920X1200 [Message Edited]
Ah, good point.. I have OD too and completely forgot that CX is listed on the Misc tab all by it's lonesome.. Guess I need more coffee too.
