question about windowfx

i have an old graphics card would an early version be better for me, especially with transformations?

I also have an old graphics card - Geoforce 2 MX/MX 400, the latest Windowblinds works fine here

Depends on what the card is and what you want to do with WFX.. If you stick to simple things like shadows you should be able to run it fine but if you want to do window animations and all that you'll find anything but a fairly high-end ATI video card will be laggy. I have a 128 MB GeForce 4 Ti 4600, running on a 2.53 GHz P4 w/ 1.5 GB of system memory and WFX brings it to it's knees when I try to use window animations or some of the more advanced WFX toys!!

I think I'll be ditching NVIDIA in the near future because it looks very much like they have lost their edge and I need a video card that can handle the impending Doom III release!!!
