The buttons need to be fixed.. If you make them look like buttons then also make them act like buttons. Do you have to click on the text in a button in order for the button to work? No. So, make the entire button react to a click and not just the text. The text in the upper right section is nasty, use a better font, and the white text is REALLY hard to read when it overlaps the lightest part of the gradient. Along the same lines the text above the IE, NS and Mozilla icons should be clickable as

Well, assuming you are referring to onw of the many clocks available in the DesktopX Objects library, you will need DesktopX http://www.desktopx.net. If not, then you'll need to just follow goodmorphing's suggestion that you use the program link at the top of the library page you downloaded the clock from to see which program you need for your specific clock. Good Luck!

That's what I took it to mean as well, updates to SDC.. However, if I remember correctly, SDC updated itself and then once it restarted that is when the dialog came up diplaying 10 or more updated apps. I didn't watch them all download but it seems like the OD and maybe the WB update were the only ones that actually downloaded any files..

Well, the link on bootskin.com that says 1.02 forwards you to a page at download.com that says: While you're downloading BootSkin 1.01... Is there a list of the changes in this version or is the random bootscreens the only change? Any news on the high color support?

Ahhh, kewl. Thanks for the info! I've seen those before but I guess the ones on your desktop looked different enough that I didn't connect the two. Thanks for your help!

Ohhhhh, don't even getme started on that crappy program!! If you have any interest of every taking your messages out of Incredimail then you might as well buy the non-free version. As the free version is devoid of an export option for your messages and they store the messages in some DB format. Anywho, there is a utility out there on the net for exporting the messages but it's not for the faint of heart and it's fairly limited. Anyway, moral of the story is, don't use this just for it's so calle

I know exactly how you feel.. Getting an install of windows where everything works as it should is rather hard to come by, which is why when I struck gold I made a ghost image of it and have never started from scratch since. Next time you're going through the process consider ghosting your install if everything is as it should be. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance..

After reading this I took a quick stroll around to some of the sites I used to visit regularly and I must admit, most of them resemble ghost towns.. Now I remember why I don't even bother looking anywhere else for skins. I'm glad WC is here and I'll do whatever I can to make sure it continues as a viable entity for as long as possible.. Here's to a great future!!

Hmmm, only thing I can think of is once you've set the option do a shut down and make sure Windows shuts down all on it's own. XP has a tendency to lose settings if it isn't shutdown properly. If this doesn't work, you're probably left with the typical MS product fix, re-install and set the option right after you've completed the install. Good Luck!

Soooo, would your mood be directly related to the twit who was posting obscene messages one after the other last night?!?!? I have a nice little script here that you could easily set to e-mail him from random addresses in an endless loop if you so desired.. I knwo you wouldn't do that but it was oh so tempting last night!! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/joke.gif" border=0 ALIGN="abs

Right, that's exactly what I'm referring to. That little down with the colors in it is for custom color support. Here on my system when I click the arrow I get a little box with the following options: 1) A checkbox that says "Enable Colouring" 2) 12 color boxes 3) 2 buttons "More" and "Gamma" 4) a slider with values from 0% to 100% Is this the box you are referring to? If not, I'm afraid the XP and 98 versions of WB are too different for me to be able to help you o

Are you talking about the custom color support? You might want to take this to the Help forum or send a message to Stardock's support folks because I'm not sure many here will be able to help with 98. I'm pretty sure that WB is significatly different in XP which I think a majority of people here use. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance.. Good Luck getting this fixed!
