You might get a better response in the Skinning Discussion forum.. I know a lot of the skinners also hang out in IRC, so you might try there also. Skinning Forum: https://www.wincustomize.com/msgboard.asp?BID=WCS

are you using any of the docklets? I know that some time back the animation docklet had a memory leak. I'm running the latest version of ObjectDock without any docklets and it never crashes... Try removing the docklets and see if that fixes your problems. Good Luck!!

Ewwwwww, IncrediSpyware is more like it!! I hope you don't ever plan on using another mail client because if you do you'll have to buy Incredimail to get the ability to export your messages from it's database.. Or, you can do some digging online and find the tools that people have written to do it for you.. My Sister and Dad used that for a while, but there's something about advertisements in desktop software that's unsettling.. To each his own I suppose..

Well, let's start with what you downloaded.. Is it from the Suites section? Which skins are included? What programs have you installed? If you have the proper applications installed you should be able to apply the various parts of the theme using the theme manager app. All of the sections on the site have a link at the top of the page that tells you what app you need to install in order to get the specific skins to work. In the case of a suite, you need ALL of the programs for the skins included

Yah, it's still in Beta so someone has to invite you to try it out... It's pretty slick, but I'm still trying to figure some of the features out..

Are you using the bootskins program available here? If so, just run it and the first entry in the list of bootskins is "Default System Bootscreen", it and then click the Apply button. If you aren't wanting to use bootskin anymore it's now safe to uninstall the app.

Depends on what you're uploading.. Wallpapers I believe take some time because they are a bit more ive here (reportedly) than other wallpaper sites. I've only submitted one item, but it only took maybe 1 day from publish to post. Does your item still show awaiting approval? If so, just be patient, it'll be processed in due time..

Well, have a great vacation and hopefully it'll stop raining here before you get into town.. I'm in Houston but I live about halfway between downtown Houston and Galveston near the Johnson Space Center.. Weather is miserable at the moment but here's hoping it improves for you!! Can't wait for OD Plus!! <img src=

Looks like the machine that's running store.stardock.com is having a problem. The machine is up but not serving any pages for that site.. I'm sure they'll get it squared away ASAP.

There were others who mentioned not being able to download anything. I'd give it a few days to see if it works itself out. If not, try posting in the Help forum the details of your problem.

I can't honestly say I understand why there are so many people in here touting 64-bit processors.. Seeing as 64-bit OS and driver support are lacking at best and I don't think there are more than a handful of software apps written to support 64-bit processors. Am I missing something or is everyone here running the latest Linux build that has 64-bit support ?? 64-bit computing will be great and probably con

Actually, I would say bootskins works for most people, not jsut some. I personally have 4 computers that it works perfectly on. If you want to help fix the problem post the BIOS info from your computers here and hopefully someone from SD will come across it and offer some advice or help. Chances are the problem is not with the systems you are using or the OS, since the bootskins are displayed before the OS is even loaded, but with the BIOS and the fact that the BIOS maker is doing something scre

Well, if you're not using the latest version of OD then I'd upgrade first and foremost. If you are using the latest version, make sure you have "Use mouse activation" unchecked, as this will cause the dock to *pop* in front of a program if you move your mouse over it.

Seems to be a problem with manufacturers and driver makers not following playing nice with the other kids.. Do either of these mobo's support a higher color BIOS screen? I saw this option on a mobo somewhere and immediately thought this might cause something like bootskins a problem..

Ah, reminds me of the gool 'ol days when Mom's favorite punishment when us kids were bad was to confiscate anything that could bring enjoyment.. Taught me very quickly that the best way to difuse a potential situation was to make Mom laugh. My sister didn't learn that lesson and after one particularly nasty argument lost everything from her room that wasn't absolutely necessary, I actually think she would have lost her bed if Mom had thought she could pick it up <img src="http://images.stardock.

Well, I just installed it and it doesn't display any icons for me either.. I have DX installed and running, closing DX didn't help anything either. I left it running for a while and it crashed in trayserver.exe, so it looks like there may be some kind of incompatibility between trayserver and this docklet.. I'll try and do a little more digging around and see.. Anyone else have any input?
