look for a file named (username).cat in your windowblinds folder where (username) is you windows user name. delete it and then re-open the display properties. This will cause the list to be refreshed. Good Luck! [Message Edited]

well, if Logon Studio doesn't offer that configuration option for the user boxes then it's probably not possible. If you felt adventerous you could always scour the web for some documentation on the xml file that is used to configure the logon and see if there is any way to put them where you want. Chances are it's just not possible though. Good Luck! Heh, or just do what Leo suggested [Message Edited]

go to the logon studio directory and make sure the logon you want to use is properly installed. Unfortunately Logon Studio has some pretty serious and annoying bugs and it doesn't seem that it will ever be updated. The only thing to do is tinker around until you get it working. Oh, and don't use Logon Studio to actually edit the logons it just makes the situation worse!!

Any luck Rick? If you can't get it to work with SkinStudio I know you can get the images out of the shellstyle.dll with a resource editor and then you can import them into SkinStudio. Do you know how to import the substyles by any chance? I've tried a couple times but it shows all of the subskins as individual skins and I can't figure out how to add them as subskins..

I think he's asking how to import from a shellstyle.dll into a windowblinds skin. I'd like to know how to import the shellstyles and the subskins. There have been several people who have asked in the "converting MSStyles to Windowblinds thread and no one has answered there. Anyone?!?

if you got money just floating around this is about the best. Travis, I'm thinking I may just have to buy myself one of the laptops at http://www.go-l.com. I was pricing systems at DELL and the comparable Inspiron 8600 with all the goodies I want costs about the same but the go-l system is much nicer looking. I have an e-mail into their sales peo

ok, forget I mentioned it then because messing around in the registry can cause all sorts of problems.. Trust me, I've killed my machine a time or two by deleting keys that I didn't think were necessary.. Not a pretty site at all. Sorry I couldn't be more help but unfortunately if re-installing didn't work there may be something wrong with the installer you have. Maybe you can try installing the latest version and using it to remove what you have installed..

well, if you are familiar with the registry you can look at the uninstall entry in the registry and see hwere it expects the log to be and verify whether it is in fact there. If it isn't, the easiest way to fix it is to re-run the install, reboot if asked and then immediately uninstall it. This should remove all of the files. Good Luck! I should mention, you probably won't find many people here interested in helping out with StyleXP problems considering the latest shenanigans p

what is your idea of easy on the eyes?? Personally I can't really handle most dark skins because it's often hard to read the text in certain applications. if you take a look at some of the suites offered at www.pixtudio.com they have a few really nice OS like suites that will probably work. Good luck!

WindowFX will allow you to have translucent windows. I'm not sure what you are getting at as far as the finder text is concerned but if you want to change window titles there might be a program that will let you do that but for the most part that text is set by the program whether it be MSN, or Internet Explorer. well, a good place to start is perhaps tell us what you are doing to set it to run at start-up.. Are you selecting the option in the WFX config to start with windows? When you reboot is your computer shutting down properly or does something hang which causes you to hit Ctrl+Alt+Del? I've had this problem with other programs in the past and the reason the change wasn't saved is that my computer wouldn't reboot properly. So, if that is the case you need to get your computer so that it will reboot
