Transluscent windows

does anyone know how to make transluscent windows? example: all inactive windows are brought to 75% opacity. only active windows stay opaque... it would be great for my Mac OS X skin....
and one more thing. Say I wanted to keep only the root name of a program n the finder... like instead of writing "Kelly - Conversation" for my MSN messenger windows, just have "MSN Messenger" written for all of its children, and the main window.... same for explorer, etc... is that possible?

WindowFX will allow you to have translucent windows. I'm not sure what you are getting at as far as the finder text is concerned but if you want to change window titles there might be a program that will let you do that but for the most part that text is set by the program whether it be MSN, or Internet Explorer.

my video card lets me do that if I go to it's options, I'm using nVidea btw

i don´t think it´s possible to do that WindowFX. the only software i am aware of that does this is BBWintrans. but that´s a plugin for the bb4win shell, so that won´t help you either.

so I cant make a cript for WindowFX that tells it to make all inactive windows transluscent? (sorry if im repeating myself, but I rally want this)
