repair icon cache

my icons are corrupt and will not display properly ...using Wins XP Pro SP2(2055) tried deleting iconcache.db and re-boot.......did nothing, same corrupt icons....any help is much appreciated

use the TweakUI power toy, it has an option to rebuild the icon cache.
