Just select the planet and right click on a planet, ship, or location in the local gravity well, and the ships built at the selected planet will go there. Or even better, set the rally point to a ship in a Ctrl-group, and the newly built ships will automatically join that group. I am really hoping this can be changed to just join the group as long as it exists, so that if that first ship gets blown up, your rally point to a ctrl group isn't nullified. In a big

Then why do you want it so badly? you missed my point. if the AI is programmed to work in 3-D in the case of running into a 3-D player, then it can easily go into 3-D and fight that way. but fighting someone in 2-D by using 3-D strategies is practically shooting yourself in the foot. I actually agree with the devs on this one. Adding that kind of 3D movement is like adding a level of complexity</
I actually agree with the devs on this one. Adding that kind of 3D movement is like adding a level of complexity, and then pretty much nullifying it by factoring it into the AI. I don't personally understand how so many of you have time to babysit your fleets to that degree. Playing beta 1 is fast and furious in a small or large galaxy. Personally, I find that the fleets move around almost too quickly and building my empire while managing 3 or more battles at a given time while colonizing, r
You do not... I repeat... do NOT have to use SDC.
I've always had GalCiv and Total Gaming on my laptop
so what you want is a game that plays itself, minus you programming your gorvernors and stuff. ~SDC~
man ur a cheap bastard. do u know how expensive it is for blizzard to run those servers for YEARS after you people buy the game? Blizzard is in trouble because of that crap, which sucks as they make excellent games. But you're gonna complain about a 20 dollar expansion pack... neato. Life is tough. :) ~SDC~
I updated SDC to the latest version. Everytime i click Discussion it pauses and then closes out. Anyone else getting this problem? :/
Space basically skips the selected ship's turn, if that helps. Is there a hot key for auto attack? ~SDC~
I think this feature needs a lot of improvement. ~SDC~
Must... restrain... against... nerdy... outburst... from Morpork AHHHHHHHH ~SDC~
I like bunnies. Can I join? ~SDC~
I heard it gave u a small chance of finishing researching the tech you're currently researching next turn ~SDC~
as Bush would say... FEAR OUR NUCULAR ARSENAL bahahaha ~SDC~
In addendum I take that back... I dont really have a problem with it. Someone's gotta be the strongest if it's not me. ~SDC~
Submitting hasn't worked for me since the last game on there thx. ~SDC~
My problem is that the last 5 games I've played the Drengin owned everyone. This is on bright AI setting. ~SDC~
ARe there maintenance on those things? haha imagine if you got that event early game. wooooo you'd be screwed if they required maintenance ~SDC~
i think the way it works currently is more viable. that just seems like a loophole to win more frequently. u dont want the comp to win by tech victory, disable it so neither of you can. you can't just disable what u want the computer to not do. why dont we add a tech limiter next that limits the computer to a certain tech level and not us? doesn't seem logical to me ~SDC~
yea runnin latest ~SDC~
I started a new game on a tiny map, all AIs set to Bright. Everyone managed to grab a decent num of planets including myself, except for the torians. they were stuck with 2 stars in their home system. However, i started seeing mass numbers of constructors flying out of the torian star system and soaking up EVERY resource in my territory, their territory, and Drengin territory (currently the most powerful as usual). Now I ask myself, they HAD to be leasing this stuff since they popped out 12
doesn't show up on the metaverse for me. ~SDC~
AFAIK, only ships that are built from that planet ~SDC~
I've posted numorous times that my latest game refuses to submit despite no problems before... noone responded yet. ~SDC~
ditto. ~SDC~
