yea if you get that message you are screwed... unless it is late game ~SDC~
purefx
i can fix morale. can't fix random events :( ~SDC~
By the time you do all that work, why not just eliminate contructors as a necessity for UPGRADES and only for starting new starbases. Starbases should be able to build their own upgrades, but the formula on how long that would take would be a big debate. my 0.02 ~SDC~
you attack them just like anything else, except they are a helluva a lot harder to kill early on. ~SDC~
Every single game i've played so far where i've done good, the game just royally screws me over. IE the game i played today. I had 40 percent of the population, high tech, and a decent military, and all of a sudden this precursor race pops out of nowhere and starts whoopin me on the same month that a galactic recession hits and then everyone else declares war on me. What I found ironic was that if it WASNT the precursor race that attacked me I would've been fine because the major races can't k
I'm on my 10th game and still learning more than just a thing or two. Everything is so interconnected on this game it's a matter of fine tuning and balancing ~SDC~
order it online or through stardock??? However, EB should have it from what im hearing. ~SDC~
#1 No, you can buy GalCiv separate from a Drengin.net subscription. A Drengin.net subscription just includes GalCiv. Goto Drengin.net to see what you get with that subscription. #2 Either way you go (Drengin.net or just GalCiv) you get free updates for one year according to stardock. ~SDC~
HAHAHAHA. careful... never know who'll flame you for that one :D ~SDC~
I agree. I've had many a game where I was playing quite well and being proud of my sorry ass, only to have a random event completely kill me. ~SDC~
I'm probably wrong but I swear someone said that espionage on a civ offsets their destabilization of yours??? ~SDC~
auto pilot will always turn on whenever you tell a ship to go somewhere that is out of its range for that turn. as far as i know you can't turn this off. but if u want to move it freely again all ya gotta do is click on the ship once to select it and auto pilot should turn off. perhaps turning auto pilot off should be a request for stardock if enough people want it. ~SDC~
I love it. Sometimes the AI pisses me off though (not that they are stupid, but they kill me for no obvious reason :((( ) ~SDC~
I'm assuming it's either a slot for something stardock has planned or just the way they made it. it's not a bug tho ~SDC~
planets always produce income via taxes as gggie said. if you are referring to your planets not making money but instead losing money, that's just a matter of your spending percentage ~SDC~
and sector sweep does what? i can't find it in the manual ~SDC~
I really don't see much of a point to specialty worlds in GalCiv, aside from deciding which worlds to place your manufact/eco/political capitals on. Especially since in galciv to a degree all worlds are created equal aside from size and random events. ~SDC~
