I'm having the exact same problems when I try to to exit out of galciv2. If I load up the game, but don't start or load a new game then quit, then it works fine. But if I actually load a game up, then try to quit that causes problems.

I've been thinking about another way to handle copy protection, I think a new cp should be developed . Lets say each disc comes with a code that must be entered on a website to register it before installing it, and that once registered, that cd cannot be used to install from unless you unregister from the site. Besides that no cp on the disc itself. I think in order to stop piracy, we should be looking away from the cd, and more forwards security from the game developer

Here is the better question ,why the hell would a game company want to do a game tie in with a boll movie? That's like 2 strikes against the game before it's even started, it's a movie game, AND based on a uwe boll movie.

Took me about 20 minutes and i have the main game installed, going to do the rest over the week so I don't have to suffer having everything downloaded and unabled to play.

2-3 hours of gameplay for 20$ is a rip off to me, especially coming from myself, who didn't like spending $15 per month for Wow. I remember feeling the same way over Bone episode one, it was 15 or 20 dollars and was over in about 2 hours.

I have the movies right next to me right now, but I have no energy in me to sit to figure out how to create a movie. Hopefully they can balance some of the stupid stuff in the tycoon game. Such as never having enough employees even though I have over 600 million dollars.

That's the thing that bothers me about unit customization in a history game. I'm not a history expert by any means, but there had to have been diferent varations of the same weapon through out history. Different types of swords , guns, and of course materials to create different weapons. It doesn't sound complicated to let's say equip a knight unit with a lance, or broad sword, etc.

I think setting wise I liked AC better then Civ4. I loved the clips about each new tech, and it has the one feature that Civ doesn't have, the ability to customize units. Civ4 is a good game, but I also don't have the energy to start up a new game. Also it seems that it is very easy to screw up in the first 30 minutes of so of play. Two things I don't like are combat and the interface. Combat feels like a huge numbers game, and the interface is very hard to find useful

No offense to civ 4 fans, but I hated the interface for civ 4. Granted the civpedia was great, but the use of small text and icons made it hard to see what is happening quickly. A friend of mine who is also a fan of civ didn't like it as well.

TBS multi games really don't appeal to me, since I could not sit at my comp for the 2- whatever hour long it takes to finsh. One thing to the op that you should understand about gal civ and probably gal civ 2's(when it's done) ai, is that they can be very brutal. Playing galciv 1 on norm and civ 3 on norm was two very different experiences. The ai for the most part will do everything and anything in it's power to win. Personality I couldn't even take the ai on the hardest difficuli
