Running water is essential because it guarantees a certain hygiene level. I want the poor guy next door not to spread disease and he can have the tools needed to prevent himself from doing so for free, if he likes.
Dude, it was a joke. Calm down. You're not going to get ebola. God damn. I'm going to start italicizing sarcasm for people.

It’s amazing how quickly Apple has reached Microsoft’s bullshit level; selling us second grade products making us their test subjects for their products. But Apple went even further by telling people that a simple case for the iPhone can resolve the signal issue. A case that cost $30.00. What, you screwed up the phone and expect people to fork up $30.00 more bucks to fix you mistake? So how much longer wil

Sad. George Steinbrenner has died . The snark is in the comments. Enjoy. I really don't have any particular beef with the Yankees. Being a god fearin' sout sider, my baseball ire is directed at far more worthy targets, and at 39-50, having suspended their 'star pitcher', and <a href="http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/ba

Downloadsquad : Other Windows XP users are not as fortunate; these are mainly people sitting in gray, depressing cubicles, with restrictive IT departments and massive corporate-wide Windows installations. Up until today, these cubicled masses had some hope for a friendlier computing environment. After all, XP wasn't going to be supported forever, right? </
If this is the best you can respond then I see no point in continuing the "debate".
Right. Anything you can do to insulate yourself from reality you should do. Especially when your attitude about policy is so positively misguided that it fucks average, hard working Americans in favor of hating on that president who you like. I recommend continuing to close your mind to the economic realities of modern America. [q
if the latter then, no comparison is valid, period. There are similarities and always differences (and hence why they Sing O Canada and we sing The Star Spangled Banner). I think his comparison is appropriate in looking at the recession and recovery.
You're absolutely out of your mind. The differences between how things are done there (more specifically, how they were done there, pre-crisis) are so vast that you simply can't make a valid comparison.&nbsp

Oh man. This is guaranteed to generate many laughs . SAN FRANCISCO — In a tongue-in-cheek call for immigration reform, farm workers are teaming up with comedian Stephen Colbert to challenge unemployed Americans: Come on, take our jobs. Farm workers are tired of being blamed by politicians and anti-immigrant activists for taking work that should

I probably spent the best part of the nationalized health care debate listening to this idea that 'Canada does it, therefore it works'. A lot of conservatives challenged it from the idea that, 'nuh uh, it doesn't work'. Even dating back to the mid to late Bush administration, we were being treated to random guy who knows a Canadian who moved here because the waiting list for 4 stitches was 11 months. Likewise, hard left types love to bring up random canuck who they know who randomly caught

@DG/ID: I think your major confusion here stems from this: Unemployment is not welfare. I know that the Orin Hatch comments and the Sharon Angle comments make you believe that all them there unemployeds are just sitting around collecting their big fat government cheese check, but it just isn't the case. There are many, many, people in that group who can't (and won't) get by on 300 bucks a week. Seriously: 300 dollars might cover our c

Something else I came across in my efforts to figure out the anti-unemployment angle.
As I said, where does it end? Another year, then comes another extension, and then again, and again, and again.
