I haven't had such problem, but I think perhaps I have not done quite that many. I would be interested whom you have created, if they are based upon real people.

You can modify the electoral numbers. Open up CoreMps.PolMap in Notepad. Do that and you won't be able to play online and there may be some other problems within the game.

Whoa, back up, I'll tell you if you put down the gun. In your file C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Stardock\PolMachine\Data are your candidate files. They can be opened with notepad and you can adjust all the stats. Do not touch the core candidates file or you won't be able to do certain things in the game. If you want to add your own pictures go into C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Stardock\PolMachine\gfx\candidateimages and you can add new pi

Bush can't invade Iran in the next because in 2008 we will still not have control in Iraq. The deficit will be massive, and the interest on the debt will eat away at the economy. And George is going to end his 2nd term by campaigning for his brother Jeb.

for those of us who accepted Clinton as President, but did not like him, we never cried fowl just because he never won 50% of the vote. We did criticize him, and worked to defeat him, but he was our president. If GWB is not your president, there are flights leaving the country ev

This is exactly why the Democrat has lost. They do not face the truth. When 1960 Nixon lost to Kennedy by 0.2 %. He didn't ask for recount. Is there any reason why Democrat is the only party cry foul all the time? Bush defeats Kerry by 5%. It is a solid lead. Not a landslide, but a solid lead. Whoman, I am not surprise de

Just finished against Ahnuld/Condi with FDR/Truman in campaign mode and it was too easy. Outspent him $25.3-15.2 million, out politicaled him 42-0, won the popular vote 90.2-39.75 and the EC 535-3. He won only Alaska, which I did not visit once and was working at a disadvantage because he had an HQ there because of the environmental endorsement. For some strange reason he stuck expensive ads in areas in which he was way behind, put a TV ad in Idaho

Citizen Dr. Guy - 11/6/2004 11:15:16 AM I thought all the whackos were on DU.org. Seems I was wrong. Kerry lost by 3.5 million votes. he lost ohio by almost 200k. And ohio uses punch cards, not electronic voting machines. It is really sad when there is no question of the victor, as there was in the days after 2000, that

Whats the matter? Don't think a Democrat would EVER vote for a Republican? mhahahahahahahahaha!!!! Whoa, that's convincing. Sure there are Dems that vote the other way, just as there are Reps that do. However none so evident as in FL where Democratic strongholds vote Republican with over 66% of the vo

Since when does being registered as one party or the other mean you have to vote for that party's candidate 100% of the time? I guess that means that if someone is registered as an Independent they are restricted to only voting for an Independent candidate? I guess my understand

For those who voted on the "moral issues", do they think that Bush will suddenly propose and ammendment to ban abortion? That is what is needed or to have the Supreme court vote again on Roe v Wade. Do these same moralists expect Bush to not only put forth an ammendment not only banning gay marriage but civil unions as well? For all the talk on moral issues, there will be no headway made on those issues even with a Republican majority in both houses

msladydeath - 11/6/2004 3:07:47 AM What I found intresting about that was that all the counties with high turnover, had very small populations... I didn't really see anything that would make me cry fraud though, unless the huricanes were a gov conspiracy to boost the republican vote.... Hmmm. The te

How about comparing election results in Florida to the % of registered Democrats/Republicans and the voter turnout. There were counties in Florida where there were a vast majority of registered Democrats, 70% turnout and Bush won the county with 66% of the vote. The common bond between these counties was the electoral vote machines who maker guarenteed would win Ohio, where the machines were also used. Counties without the voting machines were close

The problem with gay marriage is that marriage is not just an acknowlegement of a relationship, it is one that is recognized by whatever deity you happen to believe in. For most in this country that would be the Christan god, but since we have this freedom of religion thing that shouldn't matter. What does matter is that by putting the term marriage beside a gay marriage, you put a religious connotation next to it. By doing that you force those reli

well, I did it. I beat Washington with Tommy J with 303 electoral votes. since my mind has been ruined by tv, im too stupid to figure out how to paste an image here, so ill just write it out. I won 303-235 with 74,276,00 popular votes to his 76,105,000. I spent $20.15 mil to his $36.70 mil. I spent 113 political capital to his

The reason that privatization of social security is not done is for two reasons. First off, those who are close to or at retirement will fear that without the current influx of money, they will not get what they paid into the system. The problem with this theory is that those who are nowhere close to retirement will probably not see a cent of the money because our elected officials have been raiding the system for quite sometime. The second problem

6) I disagree. Having worked in education, the funding and control has to come from the local level. Get the Feds out of it. That leaves poorer districts out in the cold with no chance to compete and their children lost in another generation without prospects.

Bush does very well in rural areas and smaller towns. Even New York looks red and it went convincingly to Kerry. The Democrats do better in population centers.

The clear difference was the evangelical vote coming out to vote in the gay marriage ammendments across the country. Despite the fact that both candidates oppose gay marriage, the issue clearly belonged to Bush. It was no accident that the issue came up in nearly a dozen states. Despite the passing of the ammendment, no clear alternative was offered to gays.
