I have a hp 1350 all in one series. I recentily had to repair windows xp , now I can't seem to use my printer. I uninstalled all the software for it, and when I go to install it, it gets to the point where I have to plug in the USB cable between computer and printer, but when I do, the computer doesn't recogize it. Also I noticed when I run msconfig, the plug and play under services is disabled, not sure how. So is the problem related to windows or the cable itself? If anyone has any

just ran registry mechanic looks like I'm going to need to registered it since, the most of the errors are of course not on the trial verison area
Thanks for all the tips, I'm going to start going thru the 99 tips and see what I can do. Some follow up questions, where can I find the name and version of my mother board, tried Dxdiag but couldn't find it. Also where can I find a good registry cleaner? Heh I just reinstall windows too, got the boot time down from 1:45 to 25 seconds
Well my specs are : radieon 9600 pro, 512 ram pentium 4 2.4 ghz not sure of cooling system. So I'm guessing it may be time to upgrade the ram
I just tried the trial of win tasks pro, it helped somewhat, but alot of the importent processes still take up at least 31% of memory, would the only way to see performance increase to upgrade ram? I have 512 on now.
was wondering if anyone could help me, some how over the years I've had this comp, I got at least 45 background processes running on it, and that doesn't seem right , and it seems to be killing the performance on my higher end games. Is there any software free or not that could help get rid of these processes that are screwing me up? Hopefully legal of course:)
wait , did anyone understand the last 2 sentences ? Did he call himself a joke? So at what point can we have this guy locked up in a asylum?
I can't remember what games I played from gamehouse, I did enjoy some of the puzzle games from puzzle labs.
Nice, does silent storm gold come with the expansion that was released in europe? I remember playing the guild it was pretty nice, can't wait to see what the expansion offers.
lol that's what I've been doing since early august, loving it as a disco bandit.
I was somewhat floored when I saw screens of it today. I really have no comment ether good or bad about it. Ether way Nintendo is deffinty going to turn some heads when the revolution is released.
neither am I yarlen, but back with the mmo topic. I think one of the other reasons the asian government decided to past that, is probably due to the online gaming community over there. From what I've heard in the past onling gaming is more or less a sport over there. I guess since so many people pretty much played MMO or other online games so much they probably figure it will cut power bills or something. Sorta like a kill 2 birds with one stone i
isn't petroglypth the guys working on the new Star wars RTS? Still I could use another great RTS to play. Can't wait for AOE3, and the new warhammer expansion comes out this month I think.
I just can't get my self to play Wow anymore ether, with the classes still needing balance. plus the game just gets worse for me as my characters get higher lvl. I'm considering trying EQ2 soon, but first I want to see how the new changes are going to effect the game.
I knew myst was ending, but that's terrible to see Cyan go. I to have played the myst series never beaten one. I still think that it was a horrible error for them to remove the MMO aspect of URU 1 month I think after release. That was the sole reason for me getting URU, the chance to play with other people in the Myst world. I'm just wondering what will the developers do now.
You know after I posted this I got to thinking, and Galciv1 does feel more like the Civ series then Moo, but I think Gal civ2 looks like's it more like the Moo games to me anyway.
not mine, I remember getting myst I think it was around 94 or 95, after I finally got a computer in 94. I also own the 3 myst books that were released, they were pretty good.
I've only had the chance to play MOO3, but it means Masters Of Orion, they were a huge 4x strategy series, much like Gal Civ, but were even bigger from what I've heard. Alot of the more complicated stuff, like ship editor, big tech trees and different races are going to be in Gal Civ2. One thing I remember was in Moo3, each race not only had it's own bonuses but they're own perfered planet and other ablilites not sure if that will be added
I liked the overall concept of the myst games, but I could never ever figure out the puzzles. Espically in Uru.
Perhaps some science medals, maybe one for researching all tech in a game, or ending the game with the most tech research. Maybe some for earning a tech victory with each race. Such as a medal for one race, then one after you do it for 3 races, etc.
Ouch, that sounds pretty crappy, never played AC1 or 2. I wonder what they did to piss off the fanbase.
I played it, and if it wasn't for a bug or something at the last boss I would have beaten it. I loved the art style and the planet itself. My main problem with it was the gameplay it felt like a combination of zelda and splinter cell. I did loved Rayman 1 and 2.
I'm a big fan of the CB games as well. Loved Pharoah, I wonder if a Zeus 2 will be in the future
Wait are people who recieved TGN from being subscribed to Drengin still entitled to Galciv2?
Since this has been a dead summer in terms of really good gaming for me. I've spent my time split between playing a majhong game, Rome Tw, and as many online downloadable games I can get my hands on
