Nope, 2000 is the predecessor to XP. The supported OSes for WB are: 5.0: Windows XP and Windows Vista (when available). 4.6: Windows 2000, ME, 98

It would be like Stardock doing a widget guide that ignores Konfabulator You mean Yahoo! widget engine or whatever goofy name it goes by, right? Yah, I found the review was weak at best and the comments made about St
Installed it on my test box. It's OK, nothing all that special and it's slow, actually it's very slow but I attribute at least part of it to the fact that it's still a beta. I'm ok with it running slow in it's current state, but MS had best fix that before they label it ready for prime time..
enyway I leaving this communitysite for another Gee, any bets on how soon he finds out that the skinning community isn't big enough to hide from those who's work he's decided to pilfer.. Bah, who cares.. We helped him, he decided to show his true colors and I'm sure we'll run across him at DA or some
My only question is why? And you hang out on a skinning site why?? Oh, and to answer your question. Because he can and/or Why not!
My guess would be the timezone is not set properly or something along those lines.. Haven't used ND much myself but I would start by making sure it's properly configured for your timezone and zipcode or whatever it uses to glean info about your location.
I have an AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+ and I use lots of SD products. What problems do you get? You need to provide more info if you want help. Also, you might want to start a different thread for this discussion instead of hijacking this thread.
Get Opera, if you do you will thank me for it trust me Tried it a few versions ago... HATED it.. Might try version 9 when it comes out but unless it's changed A LOT I probably still won't like it.
Hmmm, interesting.. Is it the fact that inno logo is installed, or is it that entry that is made in the boot.ini? Try removing inno logo from your machine but make sure the boot.ini entry is not removed and then see if it still works. Unless the boot.ini entry points to a file that inno logo installs. I've never had any problems with bootskin but if this actually works for more people that would be cool! <img src="http://images3.stardock.com
Doesn't do a whole lot at the moment as it isn't released yet Agreed, it's hard to compare vaporware to something that we can use now... I sure hope GalCiv II is done soon, because the lack of progress on everything else is starting to get old.. <img src="http://images3.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Mad.gif"
I refuse to wait........ give me it NOW Haha Boxxi, this made me think of Veruca Salt in the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory movie.. Not the new one mind you but the original. Well, the original for my childhood with Gene Wilder. I'm not sure if like every other movie made in recent history it is j
I don't think anyone here will ever be satisfied with an article written about a Stardock app Definitely not as long as the reviewer makes incorrect statements about the application while in the same breath making another inferior application out as a more robust or integrated solution. I love the fa
Indeed, I hope you have Kol's permission to use his work on your site.. Because if you don't you are using them illegally!
HA!! WHy am I not surprised that the writer made the same mistake as every other reviewer of WB5. He still claims that WB runs not as part of XP but in addition to, while he claims that StyleXP runs as part of the OS. He also makes it sound like StyleXP allows you to change the configuration of your styles like WB does, but we all know that's not true. And why am I not surprised that a story on Yahoo news doesn't include DX in the list of Widget apps?!
Bear in mind that IE7 is still Beta, This should be kept in mind when comparing memory usage also! Since the exe was probably built with at least partial debugging left turned on it is probably using more memory than a fully optimized final build will.. Just a thought!
check out iPower and or HostMySite. Those are 2 that come to mind right off the bat.
Do you have a host for your site yet? You have most of the pieces but you still need a company that is going to host the domain and the files for you. Once you have that they will give you a an FTP address or something like that where you can go to upload your files and you will enter that info into the wizard for setting up your site in DW.
What Zubaz said plus, do you have the latest version of the MS scripting engine installed? Probably the most important information you can start with is what widget you tried. Have you tried other widgets?
*Gasp!* You mean a beta copy has bugs?! Say it aint so! Hahahaha!! Indeed, a beta with bugs whodda thunk-it!! Well, I hope nobody installed the new beta on their main box.
Would you buy a substandard auotmobile, house, cheesburger Let's be honest, this is like comparing apples to rasins .. Automobiles do have bugs, not sure if you heard about the problems encountered with the newest BMW'
No, there is no trial for OD+. You are still talking about OD and not OB right? OD is Object Dock, OB is Object Bar. I'm not sure what the differences are between OD and OD+ but it's probably relatively minor and your problem with OD interferring with games probably won't change. As Fuzzy said, your best bet is to just exit OD. Or, write a simple javascript to kill OD, run your game and then wait until the game exits and restart OD. Problem solved and
Darn... I was going to see if I could make a page that could be kept locally that would allow you to interact with the forums normally but would provide a quote button that works in FF but due to security restrictions in browsers it's not doable.. Oh well, it was worth a shot.
Do you have this https://www.stardock.com/products/logonstudio/ installed? Where did you get the logons if they are in winRar format. Everything from here should be in either zip format or the format for the application you are using. In this case .logonXP. Did you download the logons from here?
If you still can't find the startbar, try using Ctrl+Esc that should cause your start menu to pop-up. That will show you where the taskbar is and you should be able to restore it if you need to drag it out so that it's larger or unselect auto-hide as has been suggested.
Have you found any info on why the event triggering order has been changed? I believe it's a bug in FF 1.5. Here's the test I wrote that works in FF maybe a WC developer can drop this in to the js file so those of us FF users can stop the select, copy, click quote, paste, process we all love so much..
