If you want to consider realism at all, then third party candidates would have little impact except in rare instances to steal enough support from one of the major candidates to push the election to their opponent. I'm all for a third party to make their push, but they need to pay their dues at the grassroots level first. They haven't even made a real push to get members of congress in, so why should they expect support come presidential election time. We have two independents in the senat

Ok, have a bit more experience now so I can explain how I do the HQ strategy in more detail. The big HQs work out not only because they are more cost effective, they add a consultant that can raise your awareness in another state, plus they give a more detailed look at the state. If you spend the first 20 weeks just building up your money making headquarters combined with fundraising, depending on stamina and starting money, you should have a budget of around $600-700K per turn. That shoul

If it is a legal subpoena, what is the problem? Or are you contending it is just a fishing expedition? So now this administration is worried about legal supoenas? The problem is there are no balances to control if they are going after terrorist or just political enemies.

The reporters on Fox are not restrained from giving their opinion because they are hired to share the opinion of the owners and producers of the network, those of the radical right. All news reports are biased these days, biased to be entertainment. Conflict is more important than getting information out.

If that truly was the reason as you seem to think it is, then where is it? The cheap oil that is. The cheap oil is being bought by American companies and passed onto the consumer with greatly inflated profits. Nothing like helping out your friends.

That is what *you* would have recommended....that's fine. But that's NOT what he got is it? As far as the National Guard is concerned he *served* honorably. Case closed. Next case. As far as the Navy was concerned Kerry earned his medals. Why was that a big deal then?

In a word?......YES! too bad its not the case. The Republicans would have quit a long time ago.

So if you're over 55 you don't care about how future generations are going to be affected by misguided policies? You simply want those who have studied the issue the most to be quiet about it. So Dwight Eisenhower, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, George Bush and now Dubyah have done nothing to perpetuate social security? Nobody ever claimed that social security was supposed to do anything more than assist the elderly. The

Hey Mr. "Liberal" try this page if you want examples: Link the page you noted talked from a completely right wing slant about stories that happened during the Clinton administration. so very much on point. just goes to show the right is still stressing over the Clinton administration.

There is no liberal media bias to the extent the right always amplifies it. CNN, CBS, MSNBC all talked about swift vets. There is always going to be a certain amount of personal bias in any person, but where the real bias is in entertainment. They will run any story that involves confrontation. Does any news source actually talk about the issues? Do they talk about anything but polls and present any sort of information about issues that hasn't gon

I notice they have a new game they are buying national ads for. They have the money, they choose not to spend it because the elections are over and the game will become irrelevant until 2008.

I suspect the AI has to cheat because any AI is not going to match up to a human player. How many games have you played against an AI when they put TV ads in Montana?

The problem with Moveon is their actions often became ammunition for the opposition. They need to do a better job of putting out the information.

The felony lists were being used in Florida to bar voters who were not felons because their name happened to be similar to someone on the list. It was found the list was only 15% accurate and were not able to track hispanics who vote in the majority for Republicans. They had to finally admit the lists were untenable and had to rely on their voting machines to seal the election for them this time.

See, here's the thing - you don't like the deficit. I don't like the deficit. Your solution is to make me and others like me pay to bring it down. My solution is to freeze spending across the board. Freezing spending does not reduce the deficit, it only assures that we have a steady rate of deficit. <

I don't believe that America is ready for a woman President. I'll believe it when I see it. How is it that only 60 % believe that America is ready and 81 % would vote for them. Lies, damn lies and statistics. Many states are not ready for the idea.

Its part of the divorce settlement. She would have had to agree with it to include it. We have nothing from the father's side. Why is there the agreement in the first place? Are her children asthmatics? The thing was she did not think that the court would uphold her settlement, but they had no other choice. If the agreement cannot be upheld, it may as well not be there. I wish my mother had not smoked around me. Now that I'm in my 40s I

The internet is too vast. TV has 150 channels and advertisers can't get their message across. The internet has millions of sites. The only way for them to get their message across is to have the whole internet talking about it. There would have to be something there to talk about. Additionally, noone will pay attention to libertarians until they actually win some elections bigger than city council and school boards.

Unfortunately these things tend to swing from one extreme to another. In the past it was considered a parents right to raise their kids as they would, including child beating. I don't think we want to return to those days either.

This sounds like a hoax. How did she keep the sperm alive? That aside, this sounds like a crazy woman. That she could expect child support for someone with whom she had oral sex with is amazing. What's next, women scraping at the wet spot so they can have a kid?
