There are nuts on both sides of the political spectrum. I see too often the right lumping the left into the crazies group.

There isn't really a place that I know of that people can get together and find someone to go online against. This might be the place to do so. Pick your party, set your parameters for an opponent, pick a time you can be online.

So far I'm not sure weve even seen who the candidate might be. It may be a surprise like in '76 when Carter was nominated. Personally I believe if we nominate another northeastern "liberal" then we are in trouble. I would prefer a no nonsense midwestern candidate that is personable and can show that he/she is a leader. I also believe that person will need to break away from some long held party doctine to come closer to the middle like Clinton did.

If we Democrats nominate her in 2008 then we are flushing the election down the toilet. She will galvanize the opposition against her even if the Republican candidate is less than inspiring. She is a very weak public speaker and yes, viewed as extremely liberal. There is also a strong backlash against women running for higher office in this country that still pervades. I live in Iowa which I feel is a pretty open minded state. Twice a woman has ru

Did they show the blue dress? and you wonder why Dems won't give Bush a break, because Reps did the same thing, even worse from day one of the Clinton adminstration.

Difficulty filling a sports stadium, hmm? The Socialist Presidential candidate this year, John Kerry, took 49% of the vote. Thats a LOT of sports stadiums. Socialism is the second largest party in the USA today, they just call themselves liberal democrats, and the celebrity worshipping sheep that follow them know no better

Inaccuracies and misrepresentations are wrong no matter where they originate from. Don't tell that to Karl Rove. They are the standard by which he runs a campaign.

There you go. Just because you make ads and give speeches doesn't mean they're good ads. The only way an ad hurts you now is if you place an ad that is contrary to what you stand for. There should be a luck factor for bad ads, bad speeches, scandal.

Gloating? You bet I am! After all the venom and bitterness that was thrown at me when I was out campaigning for Bush I'm going to gloat until 2008. I had one woman tell me ,without provocation, that she hopes Bush drafts me and that I come home in a body bag. And thats just one of many such incidents. But nevermind what was said

I think that since the AI starts to advertise so early, he gets an early lead in awareness. The money that the AI gets is ridiculous especially since they don't have to work for it by building HQs. I also believe the AI gets an unfair advantage in stamina, as they are doing more than what they should each turn. I have seen turns when they get multiple endorsements. Run ads in 4 states along with speeches and fundraising. Th

So the people that wrote this article believe the CIA messed up just to make Bush look bad? Whatever. So now the administration is going to clean house and get all the back stabbers out. Did we just take a time machine 30 years back and have Nixon reelected?

If we have a freedom of religion in this country, how can that be reconsiled if the law of the land is based entirely on Christianity. IMO teach religion in the schools if you are going to talk about all the major religions.

I guess that just shows you how confused the "old world" is. The U.S. is the world's only superpower because we got it right, not the so-called "rest of the world." If the "rest of the world" were so astute, then why our dominating superiority? Simple, the rest of the world doesn't get it right, hasn't gotten it, and flails in th

Just to test out my developed characters I ran a historical battle of Hoover vs Smith in tough mode. To match 1928 I made the economy strong. In hindisight I should have also put the peace level to world peace, but then instead of getting the foreign policy endorsement, the business endorsement would have become more prominent. I chose Dole as a running mate while Smith chose Jackson of Wyoming. In the final talley I ended up with 465 EC to 73 and

The efforts are hampered tho by demigogs on both sides, and those who advocate murder. For the have no soul on which to base their morals, and their philosophy is "if it feels good, do it". You're putting demogoguery in your argument. Those who are pro-choi

What i did say is that it was far more common coming from the left, and is one of the reasons why Bush won. I'm not buying it. The democrats were criticized before their convention and warned not to run a negative convention and republican went negative throughout theirs. The right put out false pamph

Luck would be a good stat. And anger. Does anyone in the 2004 primaries come to mind? YEEEARGH!!!!!!!!! I think he made his own bad luck. Generally any character that cannot win the nomination would have a low luck level. Probably the unluckiest candidate in my memory is McGovern though.</fon

I tried an election usuing the very charismatic character of JFK on beginner level against an easy candidate Dick Cheney. The first time I gave speeches around the country. I certainly did not need as much money and ran very few ads until the last weeks. I noticed that I didn't start to pull ahead in the electio until late when I ran the ads. I ran a second time more on the strategy that you posted and closer to my normal strategy. The speeches te

The whole premise of this article is flawed because the people you are talking about almost universally work on salary not on a per hour income. It also ignores that those in higher brackets are able to write off more than those who do not make as much. I am under the opinion that you gain the most under the free enterprise system, you need to give back the most. The burden of taxes has moved from the rich to the middle class under the Bush administ
