So southern California means its down across the country. California has some of the strictest environmental laws in the country, which in many instances even override federal guidelines. I don't think this has anything to do with the administration. I was thinking of Enviro Whacko, but that works

Citizen little_whip, the Democratic party does not support gay marriage. They support civil unions with the same force of law. I keep hearing people like Pat Robertson stating about homosexuality that they hate the sin but not the sinner. Their actions speak for themselves. Outlawing gay marriage is not going to make them convert. Yes, you can also love god and be a homosexual too. If they can put their partnership into a contract, it will cut do

I always thought it unfair that I was competing for promotion against someone 15 years younger than me that only had to do half as many push ups and could take an extra 3 minutes to do the 2 mile run.

The only ones saying if you dont agree with the president you must be condeming the nation are the democrats. I have not heard any (reputable) conservative say that. Can you provide a link? Are you really saying that you missed on the news when Ashcroft called war protesters traitors? Did you really

Incorrect. No one is saying that. Incorrect, many are saying that. I have often read here that if you don't like things the way they are then go to Canada. I have heard the attorney general call those who disagree with the President to be traitors. I have heard the Vice President guarantee that if t

The Bush administration feels that environmental laws should be voluntary upon government. Do you know any businessmen that are going to make that profits vs the environmental decision that costs his company money?

Explain yourself then. What do you mean when you say that the US didn't do enough, if you don't mean that they are to blame for it being so worthless? If you don't see how we see you blaming the US by saying it didn't do enough, then you aren't even trying. It means that I am not going to fall for your

Species can and do evolve, but then again there is no explanation where the first organism did come form. And since they can't they can't explain it away, the possibility that a higher power may or may not had a hand in it is still viable.. That's an argument for church, not school.

So, it's the US' fault that the Kyoto Protocol is being used to justify huge deforesting? of course it is...... if you hate the US without firing a single synapse anyway </TR

While I think the handrails ought to be fixed . . . hooray that one judge has his head screwed on correctly! I can't believe the guy's made a living off of lawsuits. THAT is what's wrong with America's legal system. Sue for change, maybe, but not for a living. Eeeeeediot. This guy isn't suing for money,

America love it or leave it is back. Full circle from Nixon to Bush.

Another example of the fringes of the left being made to represent the mainstream of the Democratic party. Much like the NRA on the right, the ACLU has lost sight of the original mission. The ACLU has gone so far to protect our rights that they have in fact cost us many of our freedoms and traditions.

If a product is created then those who create should have protection. Even if Nintendo does not plan to use Kid Icarus, the ideas in Kid Icarus may have been used to create other games. The move to make it unprotected is put forth by those who want something for nothing. Very Chinese concept.

Adherance to kyoto, 2 Trillion Dollars. Cost to the Economy, 20 years of stagnation. Kyoto being shown to be a joke, PRICELESS. When you have to know the truth, master Carradio (NPR). Carry it with you wherever you go! The US just throwing it out entirely instead of trying to fix it, shortsighted

The existence of evolution does not preclude the ideas presented in the bible. The bible is full of symbolism, not literal stories. If you want to present that there is a higher being that had a hand in evolution, that is not for the schools, that is for parents and churches to put forth.

No, actually. I seriously had no running mate. When it was time to pick one, the choose running mate screen flashed, I clicked on something, and it went back with no exttra money or running mate. When the election results came up, it just said Tommy Douglas. And in the newspaper, there was just a background in the spot where the

I know this board shares on several sites like Politicalmachine and JoeUser amongst others, but its running like crap. It doesn't make sense since there is no search mode, no tracking of posts made or anything else that is tracking. It takes about two minutes to pull up a thread and many times will pull up the message that the operation has timed out. Its not like the board is being creamed by over posting, there is usually more than 10 minutes betw

The reason third parties don't have more money is because they haven't earned it. They have not gotten their message out even on a local level in any area. How can they hope to win the presidency when they haven't even put the time and the effort to even win a position as important as dog catcher in Bugtussle, West Virginia? If they can win mayor of a town that would bring them some visibility to earn a trip to the statehouse, which would earn a po

So your saying that if you had been in charge that you wouldn't have? And just how do you figure he didn't have that capability? Did the hijackers on 9/11 have some fancy weapons? Nope! I had an interesting game the other day. I forget who my opponent was, but I was Tommy Douglas, and for some wierd reason, I didn't get a running mate. I still won though, but it would have been a lot easier with a running mate. There's got to be joke there somewhere.

After 9/11 Bush made a promise that not only were we going to go after Al-Queda, but we going to go after threats that could lead to other 9/11-like events. No longer were we going to wait to be attacked in order to get rid of our enemies. Now instead of trying to infiltrate America and go after our interests around the world, th
