Thanks, Thornz. I've been waiting for command windows to be skinned for a long time now. I love it!
Shakey (the Original)
Is version 3.90 really supposed to be a preview of WB 4? The reason I ask is because I thought WB 4 was supposed to skin the command prompt, but mine isn't. The Logoff buttons are skinned now, which is nice though. Love the ones provided with the Toon-XP suite.
Thank you! That's pretty spiffy. I really appreciate your response.
Before purchasing Toon-XP, I watched the video that was presented by Frogboy. I love the suite, but one thing that I cannot figure out relates to ObjectDock. In the video, icons dragged away from the dock, bounce back onto it. However, when I try this the icon that I have selected is removed from the dock. Can anyone explain why the dock in the video behaves differently than mine? Is there a setting that I am missing? Thanks.
Thanks, Jess. That fixed the clock. Anyone know how they managed to make the dock function as it does in the video? They show an icon being dragged away from the dock and it bounces back. When I try that though, it just removes the icon from the dock.

All skins on this site must be used in conjunction with their respective applications. For example, a skin with a .dxtheme extension must be used with DesktopX. Here is a complete list. That's good news. Thanks. I'll be keeping an eye out for that one.
Glad to see that the clock issue is being addressed. That's the only issue that I have with this suite. Other than that, I love it! Well worth the money.
Sweet. I have been looking forward to trying this out since it was first announced.
I have never heard of another name for it, unless it is just OTS LiteStep. Could possibly be thinking of "DarkStep"? http://www.darkstep.com/
I find absolutely nothing funny about the puking emoticon at all. I actually can't stand it and usually won't reply to a comment left by someone who does. Seems useless and out of place on a nice site like this one.
Do you have Winstyles installed? WinStyles - https://www.stardock.com/products/winstyles/
Hey, Vargo. To answer your questions: 1. Yes, you can use them both at the same time. They compliment each other well. 2. No, they don't do the same thing. Windowblinds skins applications windows and if you are on XP, then also the taskbar and system tray. DesktopX will give your desktop a complete makeover to pretty much whatever your imagination can come up with. I am getting ready to enter my third year as an Object Desktop subscriber and it is some of the best
You can get the iteStep installer from this page. http://www.litestep.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Downloads&file=index&req=viewdownload&cid=21 It's pretty painless. That isn't to say though that there isn't a learning curve. To become competent, there is a lot of reading involved. If you're after something simpler, you might look at DesktopX, Hoverdesk or Talisman.
Like Iben said, don't feel bad. I have had submissions rejected also. I just consider it a good learning experience.
I have purchased both UniverseMetal and Logika from Pixtudio and have to say that I am quite satisfied with both of them. They are certainly worth the money.

There's a link on the left side of the page that says "Download"... Get it here - http://sysmetrix.skwire.net/sysmetrix/sysmetrix.msi
Oh, I completely agree with you. I'm not so irrational as to believe that most users aren't using these P2P app's for less than legal means. I just don't like condemning the application when it is the users abusing it that give file sharing a bad name.
Oh, I didn't know that. Thanks, WOM. It's good to learn something new.
I have a hard time believing that someone who is a subscriber to the site (notice the Skinbrowser icon in his post?) would use Kazaa to download a copy of WB. That isn't logical. Also, just on another note, there are legitimate uses for file sharing programs. My friends and I create maps for a driving game that we play. Since none of us have web sites, that we could upload these tracks to and they are to large to e-mail, we transfer them to and from each other using file sharing pr

I believe that you are thinking about the startup screen. ME doesn't have a logon screen. Try SUSD Screens 3. It's what I used to use. http://www.clever-software.co.uk/susd3/
Hey! That look's cool. Downloading it now. Thank you.
