Might as well fill this space up with 'useless' topics :grin: ^_^ ;P

So what are you going to name your star and what's the reason for that name (if any) ?

I'm going to name my star 'Emmen'. It's my hometown, lived here all my life and am proud of it even though most Dutch people would call it a dump.

 

Edit; why is this topic showing up in the General GC3 subforum? I posted it in the GC3 Founders subforum.

My first choice would be Rastaban, but I feel like that name will already be included. Perhaps one of the planets I created to be orbiting it, Nova Draconis?

Or my other two options would be either Exodus or Kyratta.

btw, does anyone know when we'll be able to name them? Or is it yet TBA?

I think its to be announced, but most certainly after the Alpha. And possibly after the Beta too. Since its only a text file, there is no real reason for it to be available prior to release.

I can see entire constellations here. I will use a name from the past, and honor my part of something that was once said. Nobody gets the wiser. But you get a Star! So everyone wins. And that is just perfect. May they all shine brightly! :-)

Sounds very ethereal and space-like.  Especially the punctuation at the end....

Aahh, finally decided on the question if i should buy the founders, or the founders elite version. Now i can start all over again thinking about a name for my star. Life is cruel  :pout:

Ah well, probably call it Siskodaxia or something.
