Might as well fill this space up with 'useless' topics :grin: ^_^ ;P

So what are you going to name your star and what's the reason for that name (if any) ?

I'm going to name my star 'Emmen'. It's my hometown, lived here all my life and am proud of it even though most Dutch people would call it a dump.

I think there is no problem adding the name "Inara" for a star name. Most commonly known from firefly series but it also is an actual real name and has meaning of "Illuminating, Shining".

Well, after a long time and very little thought... I think I'll name my star "Magdalene".

I'm thinking of either "Telmesa", "Sarasota", "Reymiimagar" from the Starfire novel series, "Harvest", "Onyx", "Requiem" from the Halo Series, "Abydos", "Dakara", "Asuras" from the Stargate series, or something else from the real world..

 

Not sure if I would need to cite the series' authors though... Definitely don't want to get Stardock in trouble for plagiarism!
