Welcome to the 2nd Demigod Community Tournament Scheduling Thread

Please use this thread to schedule your matches. Remember, all teams are responsible for hosting and scheduling their own matches!

There will be a need to disqualify teams that aren't making the required effort to get their games in without penalizing another team that's doing whatever they can to get a match scheduled.  It's probably best if teams that are trying to organize matches go on record in the forums.  For instance, if I wanted to get a game going against AtMa and Ba, I'd post something like the following in this thread:

Atma + Ba:  trouser and pacov are generally available M-F from 5pm EST - 1AM EST.  Please let us know if some time in that slot would work for you or recommend a time slot that works.  I'll PM you in a few days if I haven't heard from you or we can discuss this on lagwars vent. 

Something like that.  If it comes down to disqualifying teams because they didn't get their match in, the more info and tracking you have indicating that you did your best to get the match scheduled the better.

And remember, you can use this thread, use pm's on the forums, use the lagwars vent, whatever method you want to get your games going.

 

 

So, all of that said, I'd like to kick things off and start checking in on folks availability for Saturday (10/16).  Ideally, I'd like to get as many people on at the same time on 10/16 and just get some games going to kick the tournament off.

I think we'll all be on tonight (Friday) until 11 or so. Chiefy is moving on Saturday, so hopefully we can get his internet hooked up by Saturday night.

Yes, gg last night pacov and co. We've got to figure out how to improve our end game. Once again, we were up a WS (but down on kills) and got whupped starting around level 11 or so.

side note: both mine and soccer's builds tend to take off late game and suffer early.

Yeah, I've got to watch the replay. Once Ooze beastie starts getting 7-8k or more hps, he is hard to stop. Trouser got caught with his pants down :D   a couple of times.

Sounds like we are in the same boat -soccer and I are free and waiting to see if cow is around for a game tonight.  Need to get at least 2 games in if possible - don't care who we play.  Hoping for some fun games tonight!

Lol, we are 10 wins but haven't had a game in at least a week.  I haven't officially counted but I just assumed you guys passed us with the wins over Rawrr's team because you seem to have been busy.

Thanks again to fire/ark/sword.  Those guys were available for games tonight and helped themselves and several others get up to 6 games played.

zen - we should schedule a match with your team this week.  I think it will be a fun broadcast.  Please see if your team can lock down a specific time to start (looking for 3 straight games if possible) and I'll see if my team can meet that.  I know each of our teams will try to get in other games of course, but I think our teams fighting will be a fun thing for folks to watch, so I'd like to schedule it in advance.  Thanks!

Side note - i think mcshane/orcun/renz are about due for a live broadcast.  I think I've been more than generous showing you fellas how we play and what we think.  I do understand the advantage granted by showing you guys our f-you combo prior to the tourney and broadcasting games, you know.  Man up so if I hear or-chin laughing manically, its justified.

So as far as I understand it, we are not eliminated at this point, despite only having 3 games in.

With that in mind, it looks like we will be on around 9pm-11pm EST tonight (Tuesday) if anyone is looking for a tournament game. If not, we'll just be looking to get some good games in.

Honestly, knowing that you're only going to play one combo is an advantage, but we figured that out long ago through the practice games.  I watch your broadcasts for the sarcastic remarks towards soccer/cow when something bad happens, not to see how you guys play; I'd watch a replay if I needed to know that.

I'm very excited to see you guys plays Zen's team before us now though, to see how Sedna handles an elite fire TB.  I'm siding with the fire TB but Orcun disagrees with me.

the zen way is the only way ^^ anyway yeah we should be available after 6:30pm EST on thursday, because kira does not work the next day and mith is done eating supper xD

side note: we have several combos, but if the bluff works why go all in?^^
