Welcome to the 2nd Demigod Community Tournament Scheduling Thread

Please use this thread to schedule your matches. Remember, all teams are responsible for hosting and scheduling their own matches!

There will be a need to disqualify teams that aren't making the required effort to get their games in without penalizing another team that's doing whatever they can to get a match scheduled.  It's probably best if teams that are trying to organize matches go on record in the forums.  For instance, if I wanted to get a game going against AtMa and Ba, I'd post something like the following in this thread:

Atma + Ba:  trouser and pacov are generally available M-F from 5pm EST - 1AM EST.  Please let us know if some time in that slot would work for you or recommend a time slot that works.  I'll PM you in a few days if I haven't heard from you or we can discuss this on lagwars vent. 

Something like that.  If it comes down to disqualifying teams because they didn't get their match in, the more info and tracking you have indicating that you did your best to get the match scheduled the better.

And remember, you can use this thread, use pm's on the forums, use the lagwars vent, whatever method you want to get your games going.

 

 

So, all of that said, I'd like to kick things off and start checking in on folks availability for Saturday (10/16).  Ideally, I'd like to get as many people on at the same time on 10/16 and just get some games going to kick the tournament off.

TrouserSnake is their 3rd teammate replacing Lord_Orion (as he's dropped off the face of the earth).  I'll update that in the rules and registration thread soon.

Otherwise I can add little to what Jong and Thunder already wrote, except that very day i asked my teammates not to play a tourney match cos i was ill and felt like dropping dead in front of the monitor.

I thought we were doing the tourney in a friendly way, given this is a team game and each and every player of every team lives in a different place and has a different life and work shift and time zone and WHATNOT. If you want to do it the hard-way, ok, let's start setting hard times for the matches, let's see how many toruney teams are left at the end of the day, and how fun that is.  :annoyed:

Update:  Wednesday is a maybe/probably.  Tuesday (tomorrow) is definitely-for-sure-can play as much as I want no distractions.

Just checking - and this is going to maybe stir things up again, but hopefully not - when do you think you fellows will play us?  I take it not this tuesday, right?  Just want to know for sure and we'll try to set something up with someone else.

Any teams up for a match tonight?  I have an early morning install, so I can't stay up too late.  I'll be more available Wed/Thurs.  Not sure if my team will be available tonight, but I'll make time if we can knock out a match.

Well... My team is usually online at around 13-18 h Est time (weekdays). So if anyone wants to play with us, you're welcome ^^ (unless my Internet starts disappearing again for no reason... >_> ). To contact me, pm on ventrilo or in game (easiest for me to notice).

I absolutely would, but I really don't know if my entire team is available (and all of the time slots are for team availability).  I'm sure we'll chat a little tonight about when guys can play and pencil in a few more dates/times.

I posted my team's available times on the spread sheet given. If there are any changes I will update but as for now that should be our week to week availability. PM me any time you see me on vent if you want to set up a game. Just know those times listed are probably when I will be able to get the whole team together.

hey - i saw your availability - if you guys can play us at 9PM EST tonight, that would be great as I could still get to sleep in early if we start right when you guys get online.  Sound good, max?

 

iz/dark/darz - I'd love to schedule something with you guys as well, but it seems like our time zones are making it painful.  I'll check with my team to see if we can maybe get a game in here and there immediately after work for me (that's 6PM EST).  I know that's late for you guys, but if we could knock out a game here and there, hopefully that would work.  The only other option would be for us to connect sometime over the weekend, which might be possible.

I swear - I need to hire someone from jon's team to setup matches for me.  No matter what, something falls through.  We were going to play maxsteeles team, but he's third couldn't make it (it happens, so no worries).  Anyway, maybe tomorrow.

Max - if your team is on, I think my team is good to go.  Can you get stilr to show up earlier?  Otherwise, I'd love to get a match going with jon's team/mcshanes team or bad daddy's team - really anyone's team.  If any one of you 3 are up for it, let me know.  The only restriction I might have is that I've stayed up too damn late and have an install in the morning, so I doubt I'll be up until 1AM ready for a game.  So, I would, oh so much, appreciate any team willing to play against us setting up a match so we can finish our damn first 6 matches.

We're usually always on in your 6pm-1am time frame.  Last night didn't work though because Orcun showed up just as I was logging off and I think Renzo was already asleep anyway.  Right now I've been focused on trying to finish our set with the TSK team but we're open to anyone who PMs us for a game.

We would love too ^^, here are our disponibilities :

  • Me at any time of any day until next wednesday (French time)
  • Dark on weekday evenings (Lituanian time) and friday can be until morning
  • Iz same as Dark except on this saturday evening (Portuguese time)
