Welcome to the 2nd Demigod Community Tournament Scheduling Thread

Please use this thread to schedule your matches. Remember, all teams are responsible for hosting and scheduling their own matches!

There will be a need to disqualify teams that aren't making the required effort to get their games in without penalizing another team that's doing whatever they can to get a match scheduled.  It's probably best if teams that are trying to organize matches go on record in the forums.  For instance, if I wanted to get a game going against AtMa and Ba, I'd post something like the following in this thread:

Atma + Ba:  trouser and pacov are generally available M-F from 5pm EST - 1AM EST.  Please let us know if some time in that slot would work for you or recommend a time slot that works.  I'll PM you in a few days if I haven't heard from you or we can discuss this on lagwars vent. 

Something like that.  If it comes down to disqualifying teams because they didn't get their match in, the more info and tracking you have indicating that you did your best to get the match scheduled the better.

And remember, you can use this thread, use pm's on the forums, use the lagwars vent, whatever method you want to get your games going.

 

 

So, all of that said, I'd like to kick things off and start checking in on folks availability for Saturday (10/16).  Ideally, I'd like to get as many people on at the same time on 10/16 and just get some games going to kick the tournament off.

the zen way is the only way ^^ anyway yeah we should be available after 6:30pm EST on thursday, because kira does not work the next day and mith is done eating supper

Ok - so let's shoot for 6:30-7ish est on Thursday then for 3 matches.  Soccer/cow - that work for you guys?

OK - we are confirmed - iamzenrandar v soccercowcov on Thursday - we will start sometime between 6:30 and 7PM EST.  I should be on my 6:30.  Will broadcast the game unless we have some sort of ridiculous connection issues.

so my team tried to play Jon nom and thunder. but due to technical difficulties we were not able to get the game to work. Ping started out as 300, and then settled at 1000+ so we thought we would try another night.

Hey pacov, I can't make it tomorrow. can we reschedule for friday. I still have to talk to mith when he finishes his supper, but friday should work for all of us in our team.

That actually works better for me (not sure about the team though).  My wife is going out of town on Friday so that sounds good.

cow/soccer - can you guys be available sometime on saturday in the AM or midday?  I'd like to see if we can find some folks to play against and I think the best odds will be then.  Sorry I've been unavailable for a good chunk of the week/not pursuing games outside of zen's team.  I should have a very good amt of availability on Sat/Sun.  If we don't sort things quickly, we'll be on probation, though.  So hopefully we can catch up on Sat (I'd love to get ahead if possible).

I sleep for like 14 hours on saturday because I sleep for like 5 hours / day during the work week. So uh... probably not?

FYI - iz's team is around.  I'm online - cow n soccer are elsewhere - I'll check in every hour or so in case they show up.

edit - soccer is around - just hoping cow ends his hibernation soon and is up for a game.

 

edit edit - And I want to make clear in case it comes down to discussing disqualifications, Dark's team has been on ALOT and trying very hard to get games in this week.  Its very clear to me that they are trying their best to get games in.

ok - my team is online.  Think we will be having a game with darz n company - just waiting on them to say we good to go.  Game will hopefully start in about 20 min and I'll broadcast unless crap connectivity issues.
