k, so the concept was to get as far away from the last theme I did as possible and still be able to skin Win 7 completely and correctly.

 

I also wanted to make a red and black theme that took advantage of the dramatic contrasts that this color combo can achieve.

 

Devilish, menacing, provokative, I dunno.. thats what is running through my head as I throw this PS mockup together.

 

I suppose X-( I will be doing a light and dark windows version as I dont see anyway around it...

 

...so this one may take a while to complete but here it is in it early.. fluid stage.

 

Oh and I may just keep the small branding text... cos I know :snowman: would approve  ;)

Not sure what WG had going on up there in his screeny as far as the taskbar and tray goes so I wanted to clarify how they actually look in the WB...this is dual taskbar of course.

Yeah I wasn't sure about what you were doing there since I didn't see that in my psds. That was just a quick mockup to see what it "might" look like. And I still can't see to much in that screenshot with these old eyes....lol Thats why I'll wait to see the end product...always best to work from that!

Unless we can plug our heads in with a long extension cord. :cylon:

Hi V Styler... I just got your Svelte and Alluminate Window Blinds. Great work as usual. I was just thinking and you don't have to do it if you don't want to... it's just an idea. Some were talking about a start button to match the idea of the blind... I was thinking about maybe the hour glass of the black widow spider since this spider can be deadly to humans. The spider and the blind are both red and black. What do you think V Styler? I can't wait until this blind comes out!!!

Thanks all, I will keep suggestions in mind, altho, I quite like how the skull looks, might try and rustle up a classic she-devil silhouette , might also do a snake or a spider as suggested, I may also leave it blank so everyone is pleased and make some venomous creature wallpapers......we shall see. :sun:

It could be a month or maybe longer before this is close to being finished. Its a pretty complex design, with two full dark and light substyles for each OS, throw in textures on top of that, and several wallpapers I have planned and perhaps some extra graphics to drop in the folder... a second start button etc.. its quite a large project for me.

Will post as it's done... I appreciate the level of enthusiasm by some of you but I can only work as fast as I'm able.

I agree...although the VOX buttons are really super and are perfect for VOX.  :)
