Can't find account info HELP IN HERE!

Well, my serial number wasn't working for the Collector's Edition DL and the situation hasn't changed with the patch either. I have been told numerous times that I must have "purchased from a different account than I log in with" but I am positive that I am using the same log in name and e-mail. I have sent a few e-mails to customer service, but no response yet.

It keeps telling me that "Gal Civ 2 Serial code is not register to this account." I have had Stardock look up my code nearly six times now, copy and pasting the code into the both the CE and normal blanks. Has anyone overcome this problem? Is there any other recourse than to just sit back and wait? I really would like the bonus content, and since I pre-ordered nearly a year ago, I feel a bit in need of some attention!

What can I say, I'm an old fan who wants to cash in on my loyalty!

SveNitor, Tuominen, Saarud - Unfortunately Paradox only printed one of the serial numbers. The Game serial number was not printed. Please visit https://www.galciv2.com/paradox/ Link to have a new serial number generated for you.


Ahh, this is brilliant, I was wondering what was going on when Stardock Central wouldn't take the only serial I found in the box! This isn't exactly a feather in Paradox' hat. =/

It's also nice to see my old account is still here - I don't think I've used this since 2003-2004 when I bought GalCiv1!

Please help me.

I just ordered Gal Civ II from the Stardock store and I think that I used two different e-mail accouns.. one to login to the
website and another to buy the game. The serial isn't working for either of my address though!!! I'm really confused and would like to get this working. I am completely unable to even download the game and I just dropped
50 bucks on it. Please help.

A slightly odd problem here with GalCiv2...

I've got the Limited Edition, site registration worked fine once I discovered the whole "missing-CDkey thingie".

I've downloaded SDC and am trying to update the game with it, but I get a "No Registration information was found for Galactic Civilizations II" error message when i try to get the updates. I have GalCiv2 on the list of purchased software so I'm not quite sure why it's complaining. Yes, I have an account.

Oddly enough, when I try to register the game with SDC (Registration Info->Register->Games->Galactic Civilizations II) with the Limited Edition CD-key, which seems to work, but I get a "You account information has expired, would you like to renew" message. Which makes no sense since I bought the game two days ago and created the account yesterday.

Anyone have ANY idea what is going on with this?

I had similar problem, but i get my copy from shop... when i put my serial number from manual, registeration system says that it is not valid.... OK, there is many "O" which i cant say are they letters or numbers... I have also take contact to customer service, but no answer yet.... Hopefully they can handle this....

Hey. I just brought the game and instantly recieved my confirmation and serial number in an email.
However when I try to register the game on Stardock Central so i can download it I get the error:

"The email address you entered does not match our records."

However it SHOULD. I havn't changed my email address at all, and it is the same one I used to purchase the game AND setup Stardock. It doesn't have any funky characters in it either and I have typed it in correctly every time.

So I click the option for Stardock to send me an email with all the serials for the games I have purchased. And guess what? It's not showing Galactic Civilisations 2 or the serial. What the hell is going on? I've brought the game, got the confirmation and the serial key, and somehow it can't find anything?

 

Any help would be insanely appreciated.

I too am having problems.

When I try to register GalCiv II to my account on stardock, it says "your account information has expired, would you like to renew?" and if I click yes it opens a page where it gives me the option to buy a load of stuff.

Because of this I can't update my game. I just got it yesterday, how can my account info be expired?

I purchased GC2 last night as a download only. However, when I completed the trasnsaction, I was redirected to a product search page instead of a confirmation page. I checked my bank account, and it appears that the money was indeed taken out, however I have not recieved any email with the download link or serial #. The email I used to purchase was [email protected]. Please help!

It's easy to miss the special treatment for the Paradox Collector's Edition. Check out https://www.galciv2.com/paradox/ if Stardock Central complains about an expired account / registration missing.

Tried it, no luck. Besides it was the version from the Stardock online shop, not the Paradox version.

Hello, I need help..

I got a problem here. I am very interested with this game and decided buy it by downloading system. Unfortunately, when I ask to send my serial number/registered code, there is no number showing in the replied email. It written like this, "If there are no serial numbers listed in this email, we have no products registered to this email address".
Then I check my bank account and may be they haven't paid yet. And the bank said it's already paid. So, I send email to sales@stardock so many times, but no reply. What happen?

What should I do. I want to play this game. Pleeeease help me.

Purchased gc2 from play.com, registered and dl'ed stardock central?!

I just tried again and for some reason it worked. I didn't re-type any details, change the serial key, or anything. I just hit the register button and for some magical reason it decided to work. I can only guess that it took 3 days for my details to be entered into the database or something.

Anyway, downloading now! I just hope things go smoothly from here on. So excited.

Same problem as everyone else, my box was delivered today, filled in the new serial number and CE code and am unable to DL any of the bonus content. All I get is a message saying that I have to create a new account, which I have done.

Edit: I cannot access the MY ACCOUNT section, get a message saying that I need to log in, when I am already logged in.

I cant download the patch from Stardock Central. When I try to enter my registration key on the central i get: The serial number you have entered is invalid etc.

I bought the CE edition game retail and got the registration code on the back of my GalCiv manual. I checked it 3 times and used the right case aswell as dashes between the numbers but the same msg keeps appearing.

Please help!

Bought the Paradox version (europe) on the 20th of march, I can access the collectors editions material but I cant access the update, I´ve tried the https://www.galciv2.com/paradox/ url but got this error message:

* Sorry, the serial number you have entered has already been claimed by a different email address.
How could it be? Any suggestions...?
