Can't find account info HELP IN HERE!

Well, my serial number wasn't working for the Collector's Edition DL and the situation hasn't changed with the patch either. I have been told numerous times that I must have "purchased from a different account than I log in with" but I am positive that I am using the same log in name and e-mail. I have sent a few e-mails to customer service, but no response yet.

It keeps telling me that "Gal Civ 2 Serial code is not register to this account." I have had Stardock look up my code nearly six times now, copy and pasting the code into the both the CE and normal blanks. Has anyone overcome this problem? Is there any other recourse than to just sit back and wait? I really would like the bonus content, and since I pre-ordered nearly a year ago, I feel a bit in need of some attention!

What can I say, I'm an old fan who wants to cash in on my loyalty!

Same thing here with GalCiv2.

I believe that I used a new email address to purchase GalCiv2, different from the one I used when I bought GalCiv.

When attempting to download CE goodies or the new patch I am told that the serial has not been registered with this account, but the game seems to be fine in SDC.

I'm having trouble aswell, according to the Collectors edition and Patch download my serial number is not listed under my account. I'd appreciate any help in this matter.

I have the same problem. I have two accounts I believe so it won't let me download the patch. My email is [email protected]. I submiitted a support email yesterday with no luck so far.

Well Stardock validates me as far as receiving enabling the patch and extra content, but not the Metaverse. What's going on. I don't want to start another game that won't get counted

I pre-ordered from paradox and got my game today... but there was only one serial number in box and it was for collectors edition, so I cannot access stardocks patches

I am having the same problem. I sent an *single* email to [email protected] on Friday and have received no less than 4 emails for new trouble tickets:

Of course I have not received a response but it has not yet been 2 business days. It seems it would have been faster for me to post here.

I've got the 2 email problem as well and evidently need my emails merged. I've been waiting on my trouble tickets but maybe it's quicker if I raise my hand as well.

I ordered from Paradox as well. I can't update the game as I only have one serial. I can't play either as I ctd when trying to save a newly designed ship. I have to patch......................................

Sweet weasels, I've got the CE content!

I haven't been notifed and my trouble tickets are still open however, I was reading in another post and somebody said they created a character in the Metaverse and where able to download the CE content from there. I don't know if that's what made it work for me but it's worth a shot if you are still waiting for it.

Click on the Metaverse button at the top of this page.
Select the drop down list for "Account" and choose "Edit my Characters".
Create a char.
Select the drop down list for "Galactic Databank" and choose "Downloads"
Click the Collector's Edition download button.
Put your Serial Number in the Serial Number box and click "Get Order".

Note: There are other ways but you can get your serial number by starting up the GalCiv2 Launcher and clicking on the "Update Serial Number" button...if you have already done it then your number will be there. If not then get it using one of the methods mentioned earlier.

I'm one of the digital download version purchasers and this worked for me. I guess if you have a box for the game you might have to use the Collector's Edition Serial Number box instead.

I should add that I have no idea if someone at Stardock has already merged my email accounts and I just have yet to be told. So maybe this is all a fluke.

I've also email problems. My Stardock.net account uses an old email address that I can no longer access. I purchased the game using a new email address and managed to register the game within stardock central using the new email address so I can download the game. However when the game trys to activate it seems to run into problems as the stardock.net account email does not match the email address I registered the game under.

I did the same thing buying using a different email than what I set up my Stardock account.

I updated my email here to match the one I used for my purchase.

Well.. I am bought via paradox and got my physical game dvd yesterday, but it had ONLY CE serial, so I cannot access anything else yet but CE content. I cant access anything else that you get to access with regular serial... real pre-order treatment!

Same problem for me as Tuominen. Physical copy and only has a key for the CE content too. Have tried several different ways since last night. Says my key isn't valid for registering my product at stardock. Frustrating...

Also tried to create a character for metaverse. Did not work (though I must admit I expected this).

Hello!

Yesterday I purchased GalCivII via the Stardock Store. Unfortunately a little typing error occured in the email adress I entered to order the game. I obviously created another account this way with a different email address than that in my stardock.com account. so, I´m not able to download the game.

@Frogboy: Could you please correct my error and merge my account?

SveNitor, Tuominen, Saarud - Unfortunately Paradox only printed one of the serial numbers.  The Game serial number was not printed.  Please visit https://www.galciv2.com/paradox/ to have a new serial number generated for you.

Gaute65 - Looks like  you already have your serial registered to this account.  If there are still problems please email ([email protected]) with the information from both accounts so I get everything squared away.

I'm having the same problems DLing the bonus stuff. Tells me I'm not registered to this account. I suspect I have 2 or MORE accounts with different emails. I pre-ordered GalCiv2. Also own GalCiv1 which was a DL and the Deluxe edition of that game which i purchased retail recently. Maybe because I'm too good of a customer you want to punish me?

I sent an email to your sales group today askingthem to fix this.

Result : No response yet, so, still no bonus stuff for me.
