Weather.com XML download?? in DesktopX Tutorials WinCustomize Forums

Hi Folks; I have a fix that I have done to the XML files that are downloaded from Weather.com XML, for use with DesktopX Weather. The deal is that as many of you know Weather.com started adding their advertizing to the XML file which in turn changed the file and Weather.com won't budge from doing this. I have purchased some of their Weather Subscriptions and also have signed up for the free Weather XML. I emailed them complaining with now reply from their support f

swf file usage with DesktopX in DesktopX Tutorials WinCustomize Forums

Hi again; I found the forum listing on how to insert local swf files as an object, but can't get the security to show the object. Any one had this problem. Ijust inserted the swf media file into a local web page. Then I bring that page in with the Explorer browser control the let it shopw after placing perimeters for the size, etc. Thanks All Automan

Different Weather look in DesktopX Tutorials WinCustomize Forums

Hi folks; I am as you might see trying to convert all of my desktop to DesktopX Pro theme. I have placed a link to my night bersion of my desktop here in the Desktop Preview section for all to see. Hi sViz; I tool a look at the one you mentioned and the only problem is the 3D angle, and I can't seem to figure out here how to get an image posted to look at. Don.t have a wab site at present. The one I am trying to build is just the time numbers on a straight facing set of Beveled edge black almost square rectangle if there is such a thing. Hi Tiggz ; That idea of yours sounds great, but I don't have the knowledge on writting the script that when desktopX exits it will change the background image. I am having to do this because there is a bug in DeskTopX that if you have a theme your running and use Configure DesktopX Section and set the background for your theme.

The first intro to the play and all on the menu section of the dvd I can copy into a avi or mpeg file with sound and everything. Hi Everyone; I have ran into a problem that I have seen before with the VBScripts running in a desktopX build. Seems that all of my scripts are not running and I am getting DesktopX errors and have to shut the script down. All worked before and Someone had an idea that worked, so I guess I " should have chisled it in stone. Called tech support and the tech mention the transformation from stardock central and to use impulse to un-install all of DesktopX and re-install.
