Hey there; I have ticked both of them but the one for the DX Packs won't stay ticked. Also once I had the DesktopX installed with this theme running, I could just start the computer and my desktop would show up and load automatically. I saw some place a good while back where some were some people were having the same problem. Does some know the registry key to make Builder load with you last theme automatically? Thanks Automan

Windows Side Bar Objects in DesktopX Tutorials WinCustomize Forums

Hello again folks; Have a very quick question here as to the use of the windows sidebar gadgets.. Is there a way to change them so that a person could use them with out using the side bar. In my DesktopX theme I have a few Side Bar Gadets that I would like to make show in the middle of the screen or be seen with a Object.visible controlling them. I have tried to use the Norton's free Internet Threat meter, but can't seem to be able to get it to not be a sidebar object.

Calling certain docks from DesktopX in Docks WinCustomize Forums

Hi folks; In ObjectDock Plus is there any commands or command lines to call up certain sections from like say a command froma menu in DesktopX. Note: Click Button in DesktopX for Utilities and object dock set to the middle of the screen and locked would just bring up the utilities and so on, then another button closes the utility section and brings up Graphics.?? Hello again folks; Looks like we are kind of missing the idea here, as when you use the code here which I have used to resize before; it will move the png image larger and down to the bottom left by a little bit. This would also need to have a - off set to make the image just grow larger. The one thing I am trying to do is set the image to spring out larger just like Object dock plus. Hi Folks; Since I have downloaded the latest version of Desktop, it appears the one of the imported email checkers I have from WinCustomize has stopped working with and error that mentions checking email? Hi folks; Installed the released SP1 today and had the UAC OFF all along then All of the themes that I had created crashed DesktopX! It's not totally ready. You can make a new theme with the system boots with SP1 but if a theme is already created like mine are, it crashes Desktoop X....Any Ideas from anyone eles that has just installed the real realease or just the RC Groups? Old Square Buttons in WindowBlinds WinCustomize Forums

Hey folks; I am trying to take a wb4 skin and change the buttons from to old colored square ones lined up to the top right of the window to the new Vista buttons with the cool flair. I have a few themes that have the good ones in them and I want to transfer after I get permission from the Arthur to use them on my skin I use myself. These buttons are too cool. Also I would like to know how to make shadows around the borders of windows and menus,etc. without using FX.

Hi Folks; Automan here again. Tried the clear Cache and it still with thee box checked didn't start. I had to take and clear it all and then place my DesktopX Config file in in Windows start section and it starts fine. I really wish stardock would jump in here and tell me the registry section to hit and make it run. If anyone has any other ideas please let me know. I even tried to uninstall and then restart after clearing everything then re-installing and checking the box again.??? Automan <

Bichur; I have found and used the Corky O's Clearing the Cache 101 and set the DesktopX builder to start with windows and it won't do it. Windows just starts. If i put a start version of DesktopX in the Start area it starts in the normal run mode and you have to switch back. Is there some kind of registry setting to get it to run automatically? Hey folks; I am having trouble after installing DesktopX and Checking it to use the Builder and also checking to load at start-Up isn't working! I have a theme loaded saved and then restart the system and DesktopX and my theme isn't there. Can anyone give me any ideas why this is happening.
