Hey guy; I appreciate the widget will look at the section for the removable drives. I wrote Stardock about their drive plug-in and told they had bet redo it and also add the section for SpeedFan for temps and fan speeds and hard disk health. I am stil working on the green image rolldown so that it will roll don smoothly and then only use the frontpage image of the radar to fade in. Any ideas on the growth of this. Checking Drive Existance in DesktopX WinCustomize Forums

Looking for a way to use two images with states drive exist and drive no exist. When Ipod is docjed it has a drive letter of "J:\". If frive exist then a Green.png.square will appear. When Ipod id undocked and "j:\" doesn't exist then a red.png will appear. I suppose a timer will have to be used to keep checking. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Automan

SpeedFan in DesktopX Stardock Forums

Hi folks - Has anyone ever tried to read the temps and fan speeds frpm SpeedFan in DeskTopX? There is a lot needed in the Performance Meters 2 that comes with DesktopX. I am trying to get rid of so many apps and run most things in DeskTopX. Also is it possible to use two images and check to see if a drive exist or not. Thats like if you have your Ipod docked then the image will be a green dot and when it is gone from the dock it will be a red dot? Thanks Automan

Hey sViz; Thanks I appreciate it! There is one way I took the rooldown calandar and made rolldown and I think stay. After the last Sub and all I placed a line the said: object.state = "rolldown" This help? If I can get the rolldown to work smooth and stay down, I can bring in the Large radar image with " DesktopX.ScriptableObject("RadarPicture").visible = Tuue. I have in FrontPage a web site with the same image as the rolldown and I want the rolldown to roll firstand the show the page, then have the page by button Off click fade and the first roll up. Flash Hi Flash... Wanted to let you know ther neither one would work. There has to be a for wfi to see a certain site to get the signal strength. The way they are doing it is just picking you network card, which mine is an Intel 100 mB card. Making rolldown objects in DesktopX WinCustomize Forums

Hi folks; I need some help on creatinng an image that will rolldow and rollup witha 3 stage button controlling the images. I am into serious weather and I now use Frontpage to show the rolldown "on page enter" and then use several images to romit up. Now i can setup a DesktopX browser control for the radar gif to show. Oh well the removal of the { character made no difference. Desktop crashes after you try to save and apply the script then close the script window. Thanks Automan

Hey scripters; I am having ttrouble with this script. When I save the desktop it will not save the email login info. Hi filks; I have a probable simple one for you. I have a parent for email thats called "Main_Back" and it has all the scripting to chect email, etc. Now I have placed a button on the Main_Back and made it part of the group and also a child. My problem is how to make the button fire the check mail manuly when I want instead of waiting for the timer to fire.
