Depends on the file size and your connection speed :)

Ok, translation is finished. [e digicons]\o/[/e] We´re now looking for visual glitches and control that every word fits in its space.
Establishing connection takes a few seconds. So just be patient and wait a little bit. With the next patch on tuesday, connections will be better (as JKnuckle88 said, the game isn´t supposed to be released til tuesday).
The settings are saved in a config file which can be found under: My Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Demigod\Game.prefs You can edit this file and have a look, if this will work.
Maybe you want to have a look at the official requirements: Minimum: Windows XP SP3 / Vista SP1 2.4 GHz Processor 512 MB Available System Memory 8 GB Available Hard Drive Space 128 MB 3D Video Card (ATI Radeon X1600 / Nvidia GeForce 6800 or better)* Sound Card Broadband Internet Connection for Multiplayer Stardock's Impulse Required for Updates/Digital Download <l
Is that translation from Google? [e digicons][/e]
And don´t worry, we nearly finished a better translation :)
This flag-mode is tough against 3 AIs. I had it once in the beta. Had to invest in movespeed only to be able to capture everything back^^
You are forced to your side when playing Pantheon. Each time a faction has won (reached a defined limit in points) it will be resetted and you can choose your side again.
I don´t know if you get the "Day 0" patch yet. With this patch, more balancing will be added. It´s true. With Regulus you´re able to hold your enemies down. His fast range attack is really annoying for others. But with the right combo, Regulus will die in a few seconds :) The generals aren´t that bad. Except Lord Erebus maybe. But with the Day 0 patch he will get boosted, the assasins will get some changes, too.
But I think it´s on their "to-do list" =)
The 8GB are used during installation I suppose (like temp folders etc.).
Most software creates some temp folders during installation, which are deleted after the installation.
Ok. Your Elo points are for instance 1000. If they did not resetted the stats yet, the AI has maybe 300, because the beta testers were fighting against it the past months. Demigod now tries to make the game even, by looking at the ratings. So your team has 1000, one enemy 300. You will be matched up against 3 or 4 AIs: 1000 vs 900/1200. Edit: Ok, then I missaprehended your post about the pings, sry. (i googled he tab pictu

The names of the AI are very confusing. In the early beta the AI had names like: Normal_AI_Rook or something like that. But those names didn´t fit the game flair, so the developers added some names for the AI (like Steve87 or Duriel etc.). You can check their pings (and overall stats) by hitting the tabulator key (the one over capslock). <img src="http://de.contributing.openoffice.org/doc/howto_2_0/writer/pics/HowTo-Writer01-bedienung_tab_taste.PNG" alt="tabulato
I think medium-high settings will be available for this setup.
The 4850 is a good choice, I have it too. It has enough power to play new games on high settings (I´ve tested the Crysis Wars trial yesterday with the highest settings, runs fine :) ). The karma thing is broken.
Your games were vs. AI only. You can check this very quickly by hitting tab and look at their pings. The teams were uneven because of the ratings: If one player, who owns everything everytime wants to play pantheon, he will be matched against a superiority. It´s based on the Elo system. You won´t find many games with human players now. The game is going to be released on tuesday (on monday, the beta testers will get their access).
Really, I would wait untill monday/tuesday when you´re getting your key for the download. The servers aren´t fully polished yet, because the game isn´t meant to be released yet. And there aren´t many players around. So take a free weekend, enjoy the sun, hunt some eastereggs and on monday/tuesday Demigod will be waiting for you :)
The 8 demigods are seperated into Light vs. Dark. Light: Sedna, Rook, Regulus, Oak Dark: Unclean Beast, Torchbearer, Lord Erebus, Queen of Thorns So, if you´re picking the light side, you can only fight with those 4 demigods in the pantheon.
[e digicons]X|[/e] Give it back, now! [e digicons]|-O[/e]
You download Impulse, log in, enter your key for demigod and voila, you´ll be able to download Demigod :)
I think there will be a replay system. With this little mod you were able to set the speed of the replay (with + and -). But if there will be a timeline, no idea
Yes. You have to email and ask them to change it for you. Edit: Or
This short story is longer than the one in the beta. Are all of them like that, or will the one in the game be changed?
I didn´t read through this story on VE3D. But there are two versions of each demigod story. One is a little bit longer, with more informations etc. The shorter one is displayed ingame.
