I would like some differences in height :) Together with the fog of war it will be funny I think. CoH is really good ... if the developers would clean up the online lobby :( It´s very buged. But the gameplay is really good, I like it :) The maps are verry different, too.

I don´t know what you mean with real rts. I played a little Starcraft, Wc3 real, CoH, Generals etc. The maps I´ve seen until now (only some screenshots in a magazine) are not very variable. If there will be more differences than I´ve seen (like [link="http://downloads.horny-entertainment.info/ver1.jpg"]version 1[/link] vs. [link="http://downloads.horny-entertainment.info/ver2.jpg"]version 2[/link]) I will quiet down :)

More than one map, hm ok. Let´s see. We´ve got changing backgrounds and maybe not straight ways but curved ways. Wow, very variable :D

If there number of different Demigods will only be around 15-20 ... I´m not sure if a random mode will make sense. Not a really surprise which hero is choosen with 10 players and 15-20 possible heroes. It will be boring after a short time. Even DotA is a little boring. Always the same heroes etc. (even there are over 80 heroes!). In my opinion Demigod with just 20 Demigods/Generals will be just boring :)

As far as I remember, it was said that there will be plenty of demigods/generals (I really hope so, not just 10, but ~80 would be nice :) ). So a special random mode would make sense, if there will be a large number of demigods/generals you can pick from. I never played Guildwars (only the trial) so I don´t know how it´s handled there. A simple new column in the statistics of each player will handle this problem a little I think. Like in CoH: You can see the number of total

Don´t like the idea to pay for a beta. But it seems that the developers don´t care about the sense of beta. I´m not sure whether most of the people, who pre-ordered the game will really test the game and give some feedback etc. ;) I will just wait for some test-videos etc.

Thanks for the link :) But it doesn´t changed my attitude towards those programs (I don´t like steam, too). I just don´t want to run an extra program just to be able to use the multiplayer part of a game, even it is said Impulse uses only ~15mb of RAM. Ok, I´m able to run every program through Impulse. But why I should do this? An easily doubleclick on the shortcut is enough :) But in the end, we will have to use Impulse in order to use the multiplayer part of
