Use the tilde key (~) to cycle through various healthbar settings. If I remember correctly the cycle goes something like: none self (and minions) allies enemies demigods all The healthbar displays aren't linear reflections of health. I think they are logarithmic. So that means when the healthbar over the enemy DGs head is almost empty, he's probably at about half health. Some people don't like it,

Anybody know where there might be an updated item list? The only I could find was from Beta 2. It'de be great to be able to think about what items go with my build without having to load the game and look at the store. Thanks.

In this thread Kestrel clearly states you do NOT get gold when minions kill creeps. http://forums.demigodthegame.com/347990 (reply #10) I think we're getting confused in our terms again. I think Chaosbrynn has a good idea. Although there is the question of being a general and not getting your AoE. Do you just lose?

I find when I play a general, especially a low DPS general like Queen of Thorns and cast a lot of minionsI have a really hard time getting gold. The minions take all my kills. I get XP for them of course, but Gold is really slow. Anybody else encounter this problem? Amd I doing it wrong? I supposed I could keep my minions away when I farm creeps, but isn't the whole point to have them around? Suggestions?

Yah I did this in a skirmish game and was pretty impressed with the havoc I was wreaking. You really need to team up with someone who can handle the enemy DGs though.

Doesn't this imply that a mega-minion general would recieve much less gold than an Assasin because much of their DPS will be coming from minions. Even if he's attacking the grunts themselves, his minions will be doing more than 25% of the damage on many of them.

but you have to dp at least 25% of the damage to creeps yourself in order to get the gold. Which means you can get XP by hanging back and doing nothing, but to get gold you have to get in there and mix it up. (kills by Generals minions don't count). Even though it doesn't seem like much gold per creep, it really does add up, especially early on. Get in there and kill your creeps. For demigods you get buku gold and XP for scoring the last hit, a

If I'm playing a General and my Minions kill a creep while I'm on the far side of the map do I still get the gold and XP from it? What about if I'm nearby? (obviously I still get XP, but what about gold?)

So if I play a General, any general character and a push my minions and my morale all the way to max, and I invest hard in minion bonus equipment, and get fnacy idols... Then I have an uber army. But what is it good for? Most other DGs can knock down creeps in a heartbeat, and they're not going to do much damage against anyone with decent armor... which leaves basically Rook. So there's the question? WHat's the strategic use of lots of minions?

The Pantheon has a place for clan stats. It says "coming soon..."

1) It takes 5 minutes to get to the pantheon because after I click "internet" the game hangs for 3 minutes everytime i press a button in the menu. (this is inconsistent, sometimes it's great, sometimes it's really really bad) 2) It takes forever to find a game, connect to everone, and launch. Works fine, but takes a really long time. Like 2 or 3 minutes taring at the "connection information screen."

Is there a shot at getting some of the big sites like Gamespot at IGN to update their reviews in a few weeks once things are chugging along? I know Gamespot has done that from time to time.

So I recently bought the warpstone for the first time. I expected to be able to warp anywhere on the map, or at least to friendly buildlings. But it turns out the thing has a range of like 10 feet. It's not even instacast, and it has a superlong cooldown. This is what's worth 5000gold? The only thing it's useful for is a twitch response when I'm in a jam that MIGHT buy me an extra couple of seconds to get out safely. A combat health potion for 350 gold do

Alt+Right Click = Attack Move. It bugs out about and walks straight to the location abou 15% of the time, but it generally works. Mellee units are more susceptible to the bug. Not as much of an issue with ranged attackers.

actually, now that you've given me a clue what to look for, this is what it cycles through: nothing self (and presumably minions, i didn't check) allies enemies demigods all

Can anybody explain what the different health bar display options do? Tidle cycles through them, but I can't identify any rhyme or reason to them. I generally just keep jamming tilde until I see the health for the unit I'm trying to.

Does anybody know the key commands to zoom in and out without a mousewheel? My friend is using a trackball mouse that doesn't have a mouse wheel. Hopefully he's not screwed.

Yes, but it's always unfortunate when your full-health-Oak is standing right next to your about-to-die-ally, and he dies while his buddy stands literally on top of his corpse shielded and invulnerable. Ctrl-click doesn't do much when two demigods are standing very near eachother. The HUD needs to offer visual feedback and interaction with your allies and on your minions.

I think the main reason games take a long time to end once they've been decided is because people don't know how to use the citadel. If you're completely dominating a match, just rush to giants and boost their damage. Those guys will penetrate defenses and bring down a citadel in a snap if the enemy is not prepared for them. It's just a matter of knowing the right way to finish a match.

I love the interface. Very thoughtfully done. They only thing it's missing is some HUD feedback about the currently active minions. Right now I can't tell from the HUD how many minions I have, what kinds, and what their health is. I know I can select minion types with hotkeys, but it'd be great to be able to interact with them via HUD icons too. It's just difficult to look at the gamescreen and find/count/evaluate health of all of them.

yah, like Carlos mentioned. the game doesnt' move as fast as it seems. There's a lot going on, but most of it happens automatically. Take your time, make sure you understand your items and your abilities. A major new player player mistake is to cast too often. Don't overuse your abilities. Casting at the first opportunity is a big mistake that cuases you to run out of mana when you really need it. If you dont' cast too much, save y
