also Gamereplays rocks. That was the lifeblood of the Rise of Legends community. (The other greatest RTS in recent history). The fact that replays are missing is killing this game so hard. I hope the fact that they've been missing for so long doesn't cause irreversible damage.

that and some UI tweaks... or the ability to use UI mods online. give me those two things and yes, I'd be in heaven.
I thought it was pretty clear that v1.2 of Demigod will be able to interact with the Ready to Play system, implying that it currently does not work with RTP.
That's my point. If 1.2 will work with RTP and RTP is only just about to enter beta then what does that mean for v1.2? Are we waiting for yet another major module to be finished before releasing this giant update that was supposed to be out in sma
Replays are probably the single most important thing missing from the game IMO.
I'm sorry, this is unclear. Is the Ready to Play BETA going to implemented in v1.2 of Demigod? Or will we need to wait until this major module is ready for release before we see Replays, Mods, and other features large and small which were promised to be released in small bits so we wouldn't have to wait until the entire enormous package was complete. Is this in place of "Clan Wars?" Is this "Clan Wars" but better? What happened to those other matchmaking&n
oops double post.
Another Question: Almost all the requested mods seem like reasonable UI requests. Do you think Stardock will allow them in Pantheon games?
is it possible to add another UI layer with interactive buttons? Selectable Icons for allied demigods and minions? So that you can select your minions and cast spells on yourself and allied DGs. If this is possible you could just create an invisible button that goes over your own DG portrait too.
The ETA was the end of the August. And it was going to come in small modules so you wouldn't have to have beta test huge changes for extended periods of time. Furthermore, there was going to be something substantial to show at PAX. Not to mention the whole "Clan Wars" feature set that was supposed to be released at the end of summer (read: now). I don't really care how long it takes. Of course I'de like to see all these things sooner rather than l
ShakeNBake is right... knockback is basically an instakill for anything smaller than a catapult.
yes, the standing order for minions is to follow your demigod around and attack things in the area. But they can selected independently and controlled like an RTS. There are hotkeys to select each type of minions. I = unique, 8,9,0 for minotuars, seige archers, and priests respectively. Also, M selects minions, H selects Demigod, N selects everyone. I don't find much use for moving individual minion types independently, howe
It's a neat skill. Lots of heal, and it's useful for taking out waves of creeps. Almost as much damage as Fire nova. There's a delay on the damage so it's not great at hitting Demigods, but it's great for keeping shamblers relevant in the late game.
i think focusing your entire build exclusively around shielding another player is not an optimal way to play. You've got 16 other points to spend, and even if you push sheild as hard as possible, you'll still have 6 points in other skills by lvl 10. Surely you can find at least one other way to contribute to the team besides shielding players who are about to die. The game forces you to be a little more diverse than what you are describing, and if you're not participating
Dispite my best efforts i can't seem to find a reasonable solution to beat this build so began thinking about what makes this build so amazing and destructive.
How about stacking armor. It works quite nicely against these kinds of builds.
Last game I encountered this we were QoT and UB. Any ideas there?
Morale is a big deal. Use it.
Hello, As a Darkside player, I've been encountering the Reg/Sed team a lot lately. Does anybody have any suggestions for dealing with this team? Between Pounce and Mines there's some serious nukage going on. Sedna is practically unkillable, and Regulus will just kite you around while Sedna takes potshots. And when it's time to run, Maim will seal the deal for them. Anybody have any good tactics for addressing this crazy combo? &
More UI customizablility. As long as mods allow it, and as long as those mods are allowed in Skirmish/Pantheon then I will be a very happy camper.
Ha. There's no post from the CEO of the company in a little over a week and suddenly the whole enterprise is crashing down?
It really should detect and adjust for your timezone so it always displays accurate info. Or at least the time zone should be labelled in the message.
Once Mods are implemented, will UI mods be allowed in pantheon and skirmish games?
yah. This used to be coming "very soon." Now it's just coming "soon."
I think Mod Support and Replays are Crucial. Modding will open up the game in numerous ways. Especially if it's executed as you've described, and ESPECIALLY if you allow certain mods in Pantheon, like UI stuff. It would be pretty sweet if you took the WoW approach and really let people have a field day with the UI. There's never been an RTS that's done this, and I think it would be a really big deal.
I think the same principle applies. If you get priests too early and let the other team feed you're in trouble. It's just not as extreme as it used to be.
