The government that governs least, governs best. I think if the GOP just went in that direction they could make it work. It is hard to get that message to be popular, because people are so used to the federal government doing so much. But I think if the GOP just created an agenda and focuesed on selling it to the people, in the long run they would win out. All Republicans need to still to the agenda and unify behind the agenda. Some agenda items would include; F

Now that the big day is ONLY 2 months or 61 days away, what are everyone's predictions? Post your predicted electoral numbers and maybe a few battle ground states that decide our fate.

Is it possible to do this kind of mod on the 2008 game??? There are multiple scenarios in the 2008 and it isnt too much different from the 2012 game. Maybe to mod scenarios and replace it in the 2008 game?

dont know what happens in the game. Will have to try and see what it will take to make it work out that way. If there was a tie in real life than the House would vote and Mitt Romney would win. Because Republicans control the house.

If you own the PM 2008 game, you go into the game files on your hard drive and copy the image files of historical candidates in the game and paste them to your configs in the 2012 game files in your documents. This cuts down on creating the image for each historical candidate. All you would have to do is custom the stats for each candidate. It works!

I am sort of disappointed in this game actually. I imagined that the game makers would have improved on this game and added new elements, but it seems to me that all the makers of this game did was update a few issues, make a few more candidates, and improve the look of the game. I am glad this game only cost 7 bucks, because if I spent 20, I would have been really disappointed! I guess I expected this based on the game price. It might have been easier to create an expansion pack for 2008 bec

i am also disappointed to see no campaign, but the game looks great! Is there the possiblity of some sort of candidate sharing page? where players can upload/download candidates??? It would be nice to play with some historical candidates. I cant seem to find the one from 2008

Just curious what everyone else thought? Who do you think has had the greatest impact on national politics? They cant be a president. They have to be some kind of politician. My picks.... Henry Clay Benjamin Franklin

There is a way to customize your candidates statistics in PM 2008. Usually after the game has been installed on your computer, a folder is set up in your documents folder. The folder should is titled "My Games", which within that file is another that says "polmachine2008". In that folder will feature a folder called "candidates". In there will be files for every created candidate, reformat the file to be notepad and then just go in and fix them how you like.

[quote who="tjashen" reply="3" id="3085792"] In the new version, I'd love to see the game broken into two parts. In part 1, you run against other candidates in your party, up to the national convention when the winner is chosen. With different caucuses and primaries happening on different weeks (including Super Tuesday of course), this would add quite an interesting dynamic to choosing where to campaign each week to get the most delegates. Also, during the Conventio

First of all, I applaud Stardock for creating another installment of this game. It is one of the best election simulation games out there and I am looking forward to what Political Machine 2012 has in store. I am hoping for some new features and additions that will make the game play even more enjoyable. There are a few new features that I wou

I would imagine the Stardock is cooking up the next game as I post this, but as the next election season draws near, I am curious if there have been any announcements or developments in the next edition of this amazing game? I have a few suggestions, if they would be considered valid and would love to hear some feedback from other interested fans. I appreciated the addition of the scenarios. I thought they were great and suggested this years ago, I am sure this wasnt new under
