You have valid points in you argument Agent of Kharma, but the title and your conclusion (buhuu, i wont play this game any more!) are just plain stupid. Come on, the game has been you for a week! If you really are an old time strategy gamer you should know that in this game, like in every good strategy game you need to learn the rules and game mechanics to win, or even fully enjoy the game. Yes this games have some problems, and yes it is not perfect. But it's still (to me) a wonderful game. I m

Hmmm... Well, if in-combat movement where to be implemented, new ways of targeting units would need to be implemented. I remember a nice function from HW (2?) where, if you hold down Alt and drag selected enemy units, your selected ships would automatically cue up and select appropriate targets within the "box". As i stated before, i already have problems when cuing up atacks with your fleet. I often end up with, after cuing up 5-6 attacks to accidentally miss a target so instead a move order ge

Than you, but i think a clan involvement from my part will wait, i need to get some more games under my belt (hmm, that's probably a Swedish saying, but you get the point, i hope :). But in due time i will. Cheers

Greetings fellow Soase players! I've been thinking (which might surprise some). We should make some kind of website to let us organize bigger games. And with me i really mean you as i have no programming skills (yet). But there should be an inofficial multiplayer portal, where you could post new games, schedule gaming session and advertise for players. * Advertise new games, with scheduled game days. When you join a game you become a member of a game specific private gr

Hmm... Visually, yes, it would be more appealing. But it would make micro managing of the battles pretty impossible. I have enough difficulties as it it to cue up attacks on different ships. Picture cuing up 10 different attacks by clicking on 10 different, fast-moving frigates? I think not.

No. This game is clearly not for you. Why don't you try World In Conflict instead? It's the complete opposite kind of game. You'll probably love it. I know i do. Yes i swing both ways, sorry :)

Yep. Naming of fleets would be great. Also, I'd like if a fleet would automatically be formed if you assigned a number of ships to a group. I mean, if you ctrl+1 to create a group of ships it would automatically become a fleet and pinned to your empire tree.

What i miss since the revamp of the technology tree it the loss of information on how many research stations of a given type you have built. I know there's a "bar" in the background of the research screen but that just tell you how many stations are completed. I'd like a simple number, as before to easily check the total stations built/under construction. Cheers

Ireland and Norway have a higher GDP then USA. Don't think any of them have a lot of drug cartels. Or money laundering. Ireland was a surprise to me. Though it was a relatively poor country. Interesting Either way i prefer to the HDI to GDP to compare countries.

Read the entire post. The cultural differences are great. Great enough to make a generalisation such as European ridiculous. Like generalisations about Muslims. Or Islam. You can say that i generally oppose generalisations.

By the way, here in Sweden it's kind of hard to get them. The doctors are quite restrictive then it comes to prescribe happy-pills. It's not like in the USA where 15% of the population is on anti-depressives. The US is restrictive on this issue as well. The only reason they might limit them more in Sweden is that you have a supply limited medical system. Ours is demand limited. Individuals in our system that want more and are able to pay for it a
