Interesting that Edwards never brought up one of the main topics of their health care plan: Cut Your Premiums John Kerry and John Edwards will cut family premiums by up to $1,000. That's $1,000 in real savings people can use to buy groceries, pay the bills, and save for their children's future. And that will mean more jobs and more competitive American businesses. http://www.johnkerry.com/issues/health_care/ I th

Unless they are the same poll for the entire military or was it Branch Oriented? It was the entire military Active, Guard & Reserve. The Army, Air Force, and Navy Times all use the same base stories, but each of them research stories for their respective branchs too.

If Bush is a Chaney or Rove puppet. Thats ok with me. You have said the they are Geniuses. I would rather have a President having his strings pulled by a genius, then have a President who is an idiot and gets his strings pulled a diffrent way by every opinion poll published to futher his own career at the cost of others. That's My Two Cents

I agree. You notice that after the first question Edwards didn't smile at the camera again until the final statements. I also didn't see Chaney smile once, just a cool CEO doing his job. I've always thought Chaney was the real President and Brush is nothing more then a puppet. But a puppet that is still getting his strings pulled by a smart Cookie is OK with me. I also think the moderator did a good job on both side.

•Echoing previous Military Times polls and other research, the survey found a group with a close affinity for the Republican Party. About 60 percent of those surveyed identified themselves as Republicans, while 13 percent consider themselves Democrats and 20 percent independents. Among the general population, pollsters usually find voters evenly divided among Republicans, Democrats and independents. Army Times I would love to c

The threshold of sustainable casualities has been crossed and it is time to walk away leaving tne UN to set the stage for a legitimate governemnt. Do you really think the UN will do this? I am writing this post to dispel the rumor that Kerry will get a ground swell support from military personnel, especially those that have or are deployed into Combat Zones. The Army Times conducted a poll of 4,165 Active, National Guard and Reserve personnel on many issues. I am not going to go over all of them. It would be unfair to the Army Times, because I really would like you to subscribe. (It’s good magazine) www.armyt

Reply #16 By: Citizen Texas Wahine - 10/4/2004 11:14:16 PM As far as reenlistment goes, at the base where I live one out of every two soldiers I talk to says that they will not reenlist . . . and we're not just talking junior enlisted, we're talking career people, too. Hate to tell you but the *ONLY* banned weapons in PA are fully automatic firearms which were actually banned in the USA since 1934. I use to live next door to a guy with fully automatic weapons (licensed), but he always talked about some people he knew that had five or six banned weapons. So make sure

Some one asked awhile back, why Kerry was not searcher before going on stage. Kerry answered that himself during the debate. He said that a President needs not to be questioned about his honesty. Using that story about the Cuba missile crisis and France. This just shows that he loves to use lines like that and then actually use the trust me attitude to get away with lies. But he constantly has done nothing to make us truth him.

but I think Kerry made it quite clear: it's better to admit when you are wrong than let people die for your mistake. Ohh, I really want a President that will go to his knees and beg forgiveness to the world all the time. That's no way to run a country.

I'm voting for change, since Kerry is the most viable of the competition, he gets my vote. The problem is that change is every week with Kerry. You can have too much change.

then why isn't he playing up his whole administration more as, "elect me and you'll be getting this whole team."
