No, this is great! This is what America stands for, this is a principle the terrorists can not touch no matter how hard they may try to crush our spirit and noble purpose, this is a Pax Americana pillar! This is what we must do to protect the homeland, let us never bow to outside tyrrany that threatens American superiority! ...right.......<img src="../images/smiles/mad.gif" bor

Interesting, I wonder how things will pan out?
Thank you for the thoughtful response. Let me be clear, I don't think Kerry is mister wonderful saviour of all that is democratic. I simply honestly feel betrayed by Patriot Act and feel mislead on the Iraq war. The best way I know how to let Washington know that I am unhappy is to make an example of however is in office despite their good posits on certain social / cultural issues such as abortion, gay marriage, gun rights, etc. . </fon
Umm. No. I provided the source for the pool drain bit, whatever more you derived from that is your problem, not mine. I did attempt to read your response, but gathered only so much from your rather convoluted grammer. I think I've been very plain. Thank you, please drive through.
Hmm...good point, oligarchy. And well said, as usual Gideon. I can't believe the French would have passed something like this, I pray for an appeal or a repeal.
Because of security reasons?
I support and applaud you. You may not receive much input on this topic as we really ran it into the ground in another forum, I hope you got to see some of the reactions and posts there. Thank you for your declaration of your stance!
We've all heard of France's (poor) decision to ban head scarves in schools. This policy is a slap in the face to all who believe in a free society. Forget freedom fries, this is something much more important, I can't see any American (or even Frenchie) supporting this poorly devised policy that practically invites terrorism and protest. Oddly enough, there has been little protest beside the action these o
HAH! This stuff gets good sometimes. Just another example of how stupid the left thinks we are. Let 'em think Oooh. Dirty pool Daiwa! Calling me part of the left. That snowball had ice in it! I don't know if you've read my other messages in other forums, but one could hardly classify me as a leftist. Simply 'cause I'm part of the ABB crowd doesn't mean I'm no conservative. Back to the point, Kerry has not led an aggressive campaign
While the newly released information on Bush's guard service is credible, its timing is suspicious to say the least... People have been talking about Bush's record for a long time, the fact that this type of thing is just now being brought to light illustrates the dubious character of the White House occupant, not the media.
Well, TW, it wasn't the "1,000th Oh that's riiiiight. It was the one thousand and third death counting the three civilians, good point!
CrispE, in regards to your statement in post #18: I agree with you that he shouldn't be a foreign affairs only president. That is why I made the statement above. I feel Iraq and the war on terror are overblown and mushroomed to a point of overshadowing domestic affairs. The fact that the administration is not focusing on the domestic agenda is actually the smartest move his campaign can make since things are not the best here in the states
I'd have to say Noah Percy, if anyone saw The Village (yet another M. Night spectacle) you know what I mean...
The 1000 Death so called "milestone" is not something that should be celebrated. Its sickening and as Limbaugh put it today "ghoulish" to be in utmost joy that you can exploit US Army deaths for your political gain. But it's okay to exploit the "success" of America "liberating" the Iraqis for presidential credence?
Find me a link on all of John Edwards cases, because I want to look into it, and if I can't find a single case in which that may have been the wrong course of action... I am not your personal gopher, find the link yourself. The pool drain case was recently talked about in the Kansas City Star (Sunday Ed. Sept 5), part of a larger segment reporting on Edwards' financial disclosure. <b
Definitely a bad choice of words, but I agree with the intent of it. I'm sure people will oppose it though when John "Ambulance Chasing" Edwards makes a speech against it with his charisma. So when your daughter drowns in a pool with a faulty drain, you don't want the big company to pay for that though they contributed to your daughter's death (actual case Edwards won). I don't know what you are thinking, picking on lawyers has always
The "Texans for Truth" is going to backfire on Kerry. It's just another example of the left not "getting it". They're totally out of touch with mainstream Americans. The left not "getting" what? That Kerry dropped 18 points in some states after the damaging S.B.V.T. ads, that turnabout is fair play and people aren't responding to anything that doesn't hold an agressive tone? Kerry is onl
Inconsistancy in Bush policy, but the media and the people give him another free pass....ugh!
I think Bush is showing the true colors of his leadership by focusing on the military issue and Iraqi well-being instead of focusing on "homefront" issues.
My friend, it's time we got out of the lake.
I'm voting for Kerry simply to send a message to Washington, we the people will not settle for a totalitarian government who holds moot certain inalienable rights for the sake of our "freedom", we do not believe Pax Americana exists as no singular government holds the power to grant "world peace", and that we the people will no longer be coerced into posits that are

Because of insurance being so high for doctors, small private practices are being drowned out from the medical community. I expect Bush to provide lip service on this issue, but little actual policy to follow...
I've been asking on this forum for the last month wondering why Kerry will not release the AARs and other reports that the Navy has repeatedly asked him to release. But Kerry is bringing this on himself for not releasing them. If he had nothing to fear, then why has he not done it yet? Good question, and one I'd like answered.
No problem here, Kerry has nothing to hide. This is just another short term tactic to cast doubt on Kerry's record, when he is finally absolved, this will be old news.... (hasn't anyone caught on yet to these tactics?)
