I have been sidelined with the flu and since I have no immune system, anything I catch lays me low.

The question I want to ask is.

OK we close gitmo, now what?

Lets try to keep politics out of this and discuss what do we do with these killers and terrorist, where do they go, home? American prisons? where, at whos expense? who is in charge of them, how do we treat them?

You are joking right?? I volunteer to do real torture if you want. Give me an account of the torture that went on please. Especially "horrific torture". I would be interested to see your source for this. ANd no Sen. Durban doesn't count (LOL).And not loud music, I mean real torture please. Something physical that causes great pain. I vote for the old bullet in the knee if they don't talk, or needles in the feet, now thats good old torture. (TIC)

I say we build a new prison in the Nevada Desert, so they feel at home(you know, gotta be nice to them and all.) Build a Mosque in teh prison so they have a place to worship, and put up no fences. Draw lines on the ground and man the towers. Tellem, you cross line A you get shot in the leg, Line B you die. See how long it takes them to decide its not worth it. (Oh and mines after line B would be good.)(TIC)
