Ok I see your point until it gets rediculous, like when I can't the same software on multiple computers I own. That is like telling me I can't play that cd in my boom box because I bought it for my stereo. It's one thing to buy the game then I have to register it when I don't have the internet. This one happened to me if I forget my account but I registered the game under that account I can't reload my game. I bought civilization 5 I had to register it under steam years later I forgot I did that, but still had the same password, so when I bought Skyrim I had to register it under steam. This presented a problem when I forgot I already registered under steam when my password didn't work. I couldn't figure out the problem, so I registered under my backup email I never use. In case noone sees this problem; because, I never use my backup email it can't work for password retrieval. A few computer crashes later I forgot my password, but I had my serial number to skyrim that now wont work; because that number is registered to another account that is not being used; because it is me. User name, and password recovery wont work; because the email is discontinued; because of unuse. As far as I'm concerned steam stole skyrim from me when I had the cd, now I don't have it. Where are the ones there to throw steam in jail for stealing a game from me. They have gone to far. Please throw these people in jail.

I'm just asking I thought you couldn't have the game on multiple computers that is what the copyright always say when I read them. Are you saying I can have the same game on multiple computers as long as I'm not running it at the same time.

I think the second part is where Skyrim didn't work when I had the Cd and serial number because I had registered it under a account I couldn't use. 

I agree that games are planned to be single use. That is my point about cd's weren't. I could take a Cd to a friends house even loan it to him. Sure this would be the same as requiring him to have the cd didn't games use to do that. You can even make these un copy able. The logic of requiring the serial number I have no comparison, but now requiring an online registration takes this into the arena I've described where this has gone to far. 

As far as the other point I have learned a lesson basically what you said take time to do things right, and don't rush into things half cocked.

This is probably the extent about how I feel. If anyone can't, or don't want to afford to buy the software there is a alternative called linux. It's not like there is an option. Or there is a lot of free software options.
