Why is it taking so long to process my order

I placed my order for Object Desktop, Tweak 7 and Objectdock Plus v2 last Saturday. I was advised that it would take up to 2 working days to process the order. Well it's now another weekend and still when I log on it says I have no orders and strangely the shopping cart still says I have 3 items in it despite receiving an order confirming the order and giving me an order number 2171806.

Can someone from Stardock please look into this as I am getting concerned.

I'm impatient too, though not American. Can I get a rush on my order for the Object Desktop please?

I may also purchase some of your other stuff on offer too, we'll see how we go with this one first.

Same issue here, and because I was expecting a confirmation of transaction/purchase and didn't, I thought maybe it was because the order didn't go through the first time, so I placed a subsequent order. This time, I saw the Status saying that I will receive an email within one business day. That was on July 30, and we're almost to the end of the week now and still no word. I called the support number since you're here in Michigan (as am I), but was told by recording to email support. Went through the website support contact form, provided order details, but no word (yet). Came on here and found this thread, and am hoping to get better results. o_O

For the record, I've ordered from Stardock before (annually renew for another computer I own), and never had this sort of issue and am very satisfied with the products. Hoping this was simply a fluke.

timothy2: Your order was flagged as fraud, because you were trying to purchase both Object Desktop and WindowFX5.  Since WFX5 is a part of Object Desktop, this is actually commonly seen on fraud orders.  If you try the purchase again without that, it should go through.  If it doesn't, let me know, and I'll try to push it through manually.

Ahh, then real quick: is CursorFX also a part of OD, or willl I still need to order that separately? The page says "In addition Object Desktop users get a host of other programs to enhance Windows such as DesktopX, WindowFX, IconDeveloper, SoundPackager, Keyboard LaunchPad, and more."

If CursorFX falls under the "...and more," then that'll help to know in advance.

Maybe I bought CursorFX for my other PC as a post-OD subscription—I honestly don't remember...

@ Rosco: I guess I am guilty of some of the passing around. I pointed him in the support direction in irc as well as suggested he post here. I know it isn't exactly the same issue as in the OP but I knew support would see his post and be able to better assist him.  I hope this was the correct thing to do.

I ordered Rebellion and downloaded it and have been playing it. My son likes it so he though he would play it as well. I ordered it for him and now the order isn't there. Paid Eighty bucks for both and if he can't play it, then go ahead and refund mine as well. No receipt, nothing saying it is pending. No mention of any type of review. Just gave Stardock my credit card number, they took it, and disappeared. Really wanted to play the game, now I'll just take my money back.

deathtw ....please contact [email protected] directly.  The chances are a second card purchase for the same product/game was flagged as an error.

The Problem has been fixed. I appreciate Jafo and Wizard's help. I wish they had a "pending investigation" que that can be viewed within the customer's account on Stardocks website. Otherwise, I have no idea if it actually went through.

Do I have to order again? Will I be charged twice if I order again? Did I just get scammed? How well did I actually check the address and/or is this one of those sites made-up to look like Stardock's home page?

Worries that would be avoided if I could simply see my order is being processed in "my account".

deathw: After looking at your support ticket and the orders, I'm not sure why you think you need to order again.  Both orders went through and were processed.  Serial numbers were issued, and are currently associated with the email addresses used, which you can access from here:

EDIT: Actually, after re-reading your post, I mistook the second paragraph as you asking the questions, rather than listing the questions you were asking before, sorry about that.

I understand your frustration, and we're looking at different ways of handling the issue.  Right now, the process is, if the order is pending, it goes into a queue here for manual processing.  This usually happens first thing in the morning, and throughout our office hours.  Once it's processed, you should be sent an email receipt, but it sounds like you never received those emails.  It may have been snagged by a spam filter somewhere, I'm not sure what happened with them, but I do apologize for the trouble.

Hello,

Any chance someone from Stardock can check my order status? I've placed an order yesterday and haven't even received a confirmation email so I'm not sure if it's just in validation limbo, discarded as fraud, or just waiting for a manual approval.
