So I was watching a video concerning the situation with Steam and banned accounts.

Apparently there have been cases where people who been using Steam for god knows how long are banned for legitament reasons or nothing (who knows). In the process they can loses hundreds if not thousands of dollars worth of games since Steam requires you to access your account online to access that Library of yours. Being banned means you can't access your account.

So I was looking at various laws and such and see that there is no mention of this.

The laws are apparently too old and outdated for it to be included. Most of them passed in the 20th century before this was even avaliable nor concievable.

I don't see it fair that Steam has the right to essential "steal" from you all that money worth of games despite that you have legitamently paid for each and every single one of them. And if Steam somehow "dies" on us (very unlikely), what the hell happens to all those games? If Steam isn't available does that mean our games just disappear along with it?

Sure you can sue the company but I doubt a teenager, the biggest group of Steam users (probably), has the resources to pursue a law suit or have parents willing to do so. This is reason why I've never bothered to use Steam in the first place. I perfer my games to be hard copies thank you very much.
