I've played some ZYW's, but in an all abundant setup. Tiny and gigantic. Scores are yet to be posted, I first need to get some big games finished for my new MV character. That was in DA.
Right now I'm back to DL trying to play a million point game. Last try with the Drath failed by only 20k points, but I'm optimistic with the new Yor-one, got a real good start and some tactics to try-out. As well as avoiding the errors I've done in the previous game - DL is quite different to DA/TA (or should I say it vice versa...)
Well, it's hard to believe, but it's true. GalCiv2 takes most of my time for now, and esp. on the weekends I sometimes even play longer than a full day. I just lay down to get my concentration back - and if the game is already advanced I'll leave the PC on, and assign a long AHK script to be played out once I'm asleep. That saves me hours.
I hope in the next weeks I can play on multiple machines, this will hasten up things, too. As it is now, I need two days for the first year (swindleing and colonizing 500 planets). I hope I can narrow it all down to ~50h effective playing time for a 1m point game, but the basic problem is the lag when more than 10.000 ships are involved....
