Saw this on TSF today...........For all you Trekkies out there..........Don't turn this into a Hyperdesk 'bashing' thread, please. We went through that little immature debacle a few months ago. Just admire the creativity and even if you don't use Hyperdesk just admire the art work, cool icons and there's a free media player remote too.

Jim....from memory you have two UserIDs with the same email...so it's not a matter of exiling one and approving the other.  I tried that one time...and you lost both of them...;)

I would just be happy if we somehow could just undo my most recent change, forget merging the 2 sites. All I did was a simple nickname change, and all goes awry. Can't we just undo the last action? I can live with my 2 sites problem, but I can't live with losing my rank, all my recent uploads, just because of a nickname change.

Possibly porting the Hyperdesk themes to Master Suites. Waiting to hear back on that. Other than that I thought I'd just hang out and watch a few people have an aneurysm over my "reinstatement". Get some popcorn, should be fun.

 

Hyperdesk-wise: I have to do some promos for an affiliate who will be selling our PLAYSTATION 3 and PSP themes, work on promos for WALL-E and EVE for a different affiliate and possibly watch a movie. Our Star Trek theme is supposed to be reviewed on TrekMovie.com tonight. So i'll be keep an eye out for that. Maybe two.

 

I doubt I'll upload the old TSF skins and there is no category for Yahoo! Widgets so I won't be able to upload those.

This is pleasing to see... I hope it all works out. :)

Despite the odd 'abrasive' few, the majority would weclome the return of TSF skins on WC.  Hopefully, the remainder will realise that personality has little or nothing to do with the skin or its application and leave that element out of future comments to leave constructive criique.

There are personalities I don't particularly like, but I don't go out of my way to make those thoughts public or jump on the 'flaming'  bandwagon to denigrate them and somehow make myself feel better.  I'm all for a bit of tongue-in-cheek fun, but aggression and taking cheap shots at the expense of others is unnecessary and lacks intergrity.

Is that necessary doc?  You imply that there is false advertising going on.  If you have evidence of this, my bad but otherwise you shouldn't say things like this on a public forum.  It would be something to take up with Hyperdesk support I think.

Not necessarily... Even though a still can be very cool, it may not look as good in a dynamic environment (like on a live desktop).

Any implications are in the mind of the reader. :)
