Just wondering how many folks in this crowd follow "real" space news. Some recent articles reminded me that going potty in space has long been an object of fascination among regular folks, and that our brave space-bus operators are still having to deal with some balky gear when it comes to voiding their bowels and bladders.
BTW, "space-bus" above is no attempted slur. My family got our first TV just to watch the Apollo moon landing, and I practically cried when Skylab fell. NASA can provide some beautiful examples of how PowerPoint can make organizations dumb, but I remain convinced that if we don't make sustainable off-world populations a high priority, we're idiots, historically speaking.
p.s. Still not able to add paragraph spacing to an OP from Opera.
