Hello again

I would like to re-announce to the Community the latest on the tribute suite to BoXXi. We have now voted and with input from BoXXi and from the community it is decided that instead of building a suite from an existing BoXXi work ( fruitloops ) , we will now complete what would have been BoXXi's 100th submussion to WC.

The skin the commiunity has chosen will be One Hundered.

I have uploaded the source to https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=955&libid=18

I now ask the following for volunteers for the following:

Windowblinds

Iconpackager/Dock icons

Dock Backgrounds

DesktopX gadgets (Weather/clock/calendar)

Media player skins (Xion/Winamp/WMP)

Application skins ( Rainlendar/Sysmetric )

I would like to take this opportunity to invite any and all skinners , coders , testers and anyone that can help out to contribute to help out . If you have code or graphics you would like to build your skin around , or to allow this project to use , it would be appreciated.

If someone on the IRC channel has a 24x7 connection , it would be appreciated if a channel #onehundred could be created so we can come in and chat about our ideas.

I would also like to ask that this thread be stickied / an article created for it.

I'll edit this post as we get more into the project.

It needs no reminding , but this is Our tribute to BoXXi.

Just for the hell of it I did this one. It doesn't go with the black and white theme this suite has, so it won't be released, but it's kinda funny. :LOL:   What do ya'll think?  ;)

Well it is kind of nice to see that I am not the only one who has yet to complete things on this. I've been so busy the last 4 or 5 days that I hadn't even found time to log into the site until tonight. The next few are looking to be quite busy also but I will try to keep up with the thread as I can and will hopefully have time the beginning of next week to get the Xion skin going.

Being on XP ,I , of course cannot run Dreams , However I fell that the Boxxi Box Dreams should be released ... and included in the total package ... I think It's great ... !! Reeeeeeeeespect !

Docks are done except for one I'm still working on. So as of now there will definitely be 4 tabbed docks & side docks...possibly 5 if this last one works out. ;)



OH...and I need a heads up via email when its everyone else is finished with whatever else they are doing and this puppy is ready for release. I'm pretty sure Xiandi and Kitty have my email address.

It may be hard to get the DX themes,3 logons, and a wall into a png if you want a transparent background. I will try.

I going to send you a cropped screen of the Dream. Please make sure to credit PuterDudeJim since it's his wall that I added a lighting effect to.

If you would like an advance copy of the dream, I can send you a link to download it from.

I notice she does this occasionally...perhaps it's a Jekyll and Hyde thing. ;)

awsome guys......is that everyone now? im only missing zakai and pixelslayer........

do you guys mind if i dont do cursors? I know i said i was going to do them, but with my daughter here on past holidays and skinning, and the gui looming, im really strapped for time..... =( i can make crappy ones, but i dont want to make crappy ones....i wanted to make good ones with really good animations...but time is not my friend atm......

im ready to upload this baby...what do we all say??

Should we set an upload date? The mods are still going to have to do their work, but at least most of the things will be close together in the gallery.
