It may be a bit late for TA, but i think the battles could look more dynamic. I want small fighters to look like little insects flying around the huge hulled motherships and i would like a camera, that orientates a bit better on the battle, not just one that circles around a ship in random fashion and loses all of the action. The "camera AI" could be a bit better, every camera position leaves me with the feeling of not really seeing the things i want to. I do not really know how to realize this (not a programmer, guys

) but maybe a camera, that has restrictions in distance to be not to far away from the action and not to near to lose much of the action (like a big, circling shot of one ship that blocks sight at anything else). Maybe one that takes into account, which ships fire and which one gets hit and captures this more eficciently. I just want one camera perspective that satisfies me and keeps me from switching through and looking for a good one the whole time.
Round based battles does not necessarily mean robotic battle animations, anyone who has played Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic knows, that round based battles can look like action based, self controlled battles. That is the feeling i would like to have a bit more watching GalCiv-Battles, not the feeling of chess figures doing their moves after each others.
