Just when you think you have conquered a planet, out from behind its' sun come a hoard of gigantic Doom-Ray equiped killer whales. This is enough to send even the most fierce Drengin running with his tail between his legs. I invite new and experienced players to join with me to take a run at the top. I have found different ways to beat the game at the suicidal level and am willing to give advice to anyone that wants it. I will change my meteverse name if someone joins my empire that is ahead of me 5 months after the recalc. The first 20 players to reach 100,000 points on the metaverse will become senators. You will be given no duties to perform except to have fun and help all of us reach the top. We now have a website. It can be found at WWW Link Come one come all. Bye for now. TBAY

next question how do you get a photo(new on computer not very high tech person didnt even know what an mp3 player was oh and i am an orca thanks)

Are you asking how to get a picture onto the computer or how to get a picture that's on the computer to display in your post.

I'll assume the question is the latter and that you have a .jpg that you want to enable with your posts. Go to "Metaverse" then "Account", then "Manage my Account" and finally "Update Images". There you can load a 50x50 pixel "Personal Icon" to be displayed with your posts.

And yeah, I know you're an Orca. I'm a Diplomat. But we're both metaverse players.

going to be slipping into third soon

Third is nothing to be ashamed about. Plus Syrrus is still posting monster scores so third isn't inevitable. My suggestion is to drop by The Galactic Core and check in on what the Metaverse Council is doing. Get involved and help the Orca's recruit more members.

Well I am back from the dead and ready to resume mass domination. I see we have dropped to 3rd. Time to make up for lost time. I appreciate Meglobob's efforts to keep our empire alive and Aliens Von K for his massive scores to keep us in the top 3. I haven't been much of a leader, but i will post new scores soon. Just a reminder that any and all that are interested in the metaverse should check out the Voting for MVC Councilors starts Now thread and add your voice and your vote.

Just a quick plug for the MVC. The goal of the Metaverse Council (MVC) is to increase participation and interest in the metaverse. There has already been a lot of work done on the AltMeta and the MVC has been instrumental in these improvements. There's still a lot that can be done. We share a common goal, please add your opinion and support.

Hey Orcas- I see we've fallen to 3rd- I've been gone about 8 months now, so I have some questions since they can never seem to leave the game the same , with Dark Avatar is the scoring system about the same as it always was? Meaning Gigantic/abundant/scattered/hardest level you want to put up with = the best way to make points?
And where the heck do I go to pick up some custom ships? I had all my star trek/star wars/BSG ships in my other metaverse games without toggling cheat flags- can we still do that? And where the heck do I go get the models now? I've seem to lost all the models I had. Thanks for any help you folks can give me

This is the oldest thread in the entire database. Note the article number (51). The article itself is quite interesting and provides substanstial insight into the typical net denizen. Too bad the advice it contains is not often followed.

......before you click there, please note that it does not lead to a thread. It takes you to page 238 in the General GC2 section. Scroll down to the bottom of the old threads list, and you'll see 2 threads with the following dates....

January 1, 0001

.....I have succeeded in finding the most ancient threads of all time.

What's odd is if you click on either of the threads, it takes you to a much more recent date (2008?).
