Can't find account info HELP IN HERE!

Well, my serial number wasn't working for the Collector's Edition DL and the situation hasn't changed with the patch either. I have been told numerous times that I must have "purchased from a different account than I log in with" but I am positive that I am using the same log in name and e-mail. I have sent a few e-mails to customer service, but no response yet.

It keeps telling me that "Gal Civ 2 Serial code is not register to this account." I have had Stardock look up my code nearly six times now, copy and pasting the code into the both the CE and normal blanks. Has anyone overcome this problem? Is there any other recourse than to just sit back and wait? I really would like the bonus content, and since I pre-ordered nearly a year ago, I feel a bit in need of some attention!

What can I say, I'm an old fan who wants to cash in on my loyalty!

well im having problems with me serial number each time i put it in the stardock account it keeps saying my serial number is invalid this is for GC2 and im from europe does it matter or some things im from the UK

I sent a e-mail about my account problem to [email protected]. It has been two days since then and still no response. Basically I don´t have a credit card and asked my friend to buy it for me. But now we got some kind of account conflict.

Did you get the autoresponse issuing you a ticker number? If so, post your number and I can have support pull it up today. If you did not get an autoresponse, then your mail was not recieved or you have spam blocking that ate it (check your bulk/junk folders, etc).

re-sending your e-mail the next day put your Ticket back to the bottom, just saw it this morning and have answered you.

Hey Im going to post in here as well as send and email to support. Im getting the same problem it seems, I bought my copy of Gal Civ 2 from a retail store when it came out and I don't remember haveing any problems before but I just re-installed it today and bought the expantions from the Gal Civ web site, and they downloaded fine and all. But both impulse and stardock central say that my Gal Civ 2 serial is invalid so now I cant update it. And while impulse says my dark avatar serial is valid stardock central wont recognize it. So now im kind of stuck as I cant update anything, and when I try to run dark avatar it tells me to run setup.exe on my cd and twilight wont run because I cant update dreadlords. Help?

I cannot validate my e-mail because there's no mail with activation link from stardock , no matter how many times I push "resend" (e-mail - alextoletov (at) mail.ru) I have tried to create another account with other mailbox but it didn't help because original galciv2 is registered with my old mailbox. Please help me to activate my account. I have already sent mail to [email protected] from my old mailbox to validate that it's mine.

If you've already contacted support, then they should be able to help with the issue. Make sure you've gotten the automated acknowledgment of your mail at least, though.

I have not gotten any "automated acknowledgments" from support. Maybe mail.ru server is not able to recieve any mails from stardock server? Is it possible? Then how to solve this issue??? :NOTSURE:

It's possible that the spam filters on one end or the other may be eating the mails. If you have a gmail/yahoo account, you might try using it instead.

How can I change my e-mail if I can't activate my account? Game is registered with this e-mail so creating new account with other mailbox won't fit...

Well, if you use an address that's less likely to be spam blocked (a lot of spam comes form mail.ru addresses), support can look into it and hopefully get things sorted with your 'real' address.

I've notified one of the support guys about the issues you're having, so it should get looked into tomorrow either way.

If there is a need, i can confirm that box on mail.ru is mine by sending mail to any non-stardock adress you name. So if everything is fine, please, merge my mail.ru account with my current.

Ok.. I'm not sure my problem belongs in this thread but I'm reluctant to start another since my problem is similiar..

First off when I log into the GalCiv2 website the account info says "Welcome null".. where it should say Welcome Paendrag or login..??

Second: when I do log in to my own account and check my games (or under impulse) it says that I have GC2: Dreadlords (download) when in fact I have a limited CE box edition of paradox. Am I doing something wrong when I check my games ??

Third: I'm eager to buy the expansion pack DA and TA but since my email adress is since long gone changed I'm not sure I'd get the code.. Is there anyway to change your email or does that requre a mod or admin in "my account"?

Should I report this directly to customer support or what do you guys think?

 

EDIT:On a side note I was looking for a Gal2- code from paradox but can't seem to find it ??

Im sure I enbled the bonus contents once but since that was another installation and another email I'm not sure what to do?´

No, it's all the same on the server end. You can't exactly redownload the tin box :p

The bonus CE ship parts and such are now included in the game regardless, so no worries there.

Dohohoh, I'm having a similiar problem, but know exactly how to fix it.

Since this is my first time using this software, I accidentaly registered my game to the wrong email account by mistyping one character.  So now I can't get at my patches until this is sorted out, and likely some pleb has my serial key. >:C

I've had Gal Civ 2 for years now with no problems, now all of a sudden i'm getting a "your registartion isn't valid" followed by "your account has expired"  EXPIRED.  I didn't rent this game, i bought it.
