Getting Icons Devloped?? in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

One thing I would love to see is object wide proxy server configuration for userid/password support. I can not get any objects that require net access to work. This would be the icing on the already very tasty cake for me.

Hi Stumpy, Unloaded WinFX, set not to start at boot. rebooted. Set let Windows chose and selected the Drop Shadows option. rebooted. Still the same. Keep the ideas coming folks, someone somewhere must have the answer.

So I am not alone...this used to work perfectly for me to. Yeah I can get it to work if I use IconX from DesktopX but that is a bit overkill. I am thinking of uninstalling all stardock products except SDC and starting from scratch. Anyone else any great ideas before I head down this route???

Hi DesignCaddy, Tried that and it did not work. Rebooted just in case and still the same. I have WinFX and it has an option to do it but it is not working either?? Really annoying me. I would love to fix this.

Hi all, Hope someone can help.... no matter what I do I can not seem to get the background colour for the text on my icons on my desktop to be see through. Anyone able to list things to check. Any help would be greatly recieved.

Anyone else having problems bringing up the product history from within SD central. I usually check the log after I update to see what has changed. However recently it seems to not work at all. Hi all, Hope someone on here can help me.. I have desktopx 2.00a.012 and I am unable to get any object that requires internet access to work. I am behind a proxy server that requires ID and password. Will, Have to agree, think the idea of a upgrade priced for those who already have a ObjectDesktop subscription would be a great idea. $129 is just a bit much but $50 and I think the cash registers would be ringing loudly.
