Very interesting poll. However, I think that Pennsylvania is at least as much competitive for the Republicans as Ohio is for the Democrats. In fact, if Bush pushes his national lead up to a solid 8-10 points after the convention (which isn't terribly unlikely), then I would say even Michigan might be at least as competitive as it was in 2000. The election will come down to the same Big Four it came down to in 2000: Michigan, Pennsylvania, Oh

Nakor, I appreciate your responses, but your posts are just confusing to me. I understand that you can't post the download for a certain period of time relating to the actual shipment of the game. So did the game NOT ship today as its stated? Is there any clue on when retailers or even the people who ordered directly will get the game? Any chance on tomorrow? Is it more likely next week at this point?
That's what EB told me too. But the shipping date has slid one day. If you've ever dealt with EB in regards to Strategy First games (Europa Universalis and Victoria for example), you start to realize that small companies really get put on the backburner. It could be out tomorrow, but it also could be next week.
Moltar, If that's true, it doesn't make much sense. This certainly is not a good way to bring new people to the stardock concept of direct downloading of games.
I preordered from EB, but am willing to pay the premium price to play the game this week (if EB didn't ship today, they won't ship until next Tuesday), but you can't. Totalgaming.net has no feature allowing you to download this game. Why are they making it so hard for me to give them my money? Doesn't seem like a good business practice.
There is no way to download/purchase the game at either stardock.com or totalgaming.net. Is it possible that all the mentions that the game will be available as a stand-alone 19.99 purchase are wrong and the only way to download is to pay the 89 subscription fee? That would certainly not be a good thing.
Perhaps I'm totally confused then. I've been going to totalgaming.net all day to try and purchase the game and the page says the release is the 15th. I see no way to buy it.
This isn't true at all! It isn't available at ANY retail outlets (the earliest retail SHIPPING date appears to be the 11th)! It isn't available on Totalgaming.net (they list the 15th as the date)!
Two questions, that I've posted elsewhere. 1. EBgames and Gamestop have pushed the shipping date to the 11th (which I expect will probably slide all the way to next Tuesday, if their past practices are any indication). Why? 2. More curiously, Totalgaming.net has pushed the released date to the 15th. If the game is finished, why isn't it available to download today on time?
Totalgaming.net has pushed the release date to the 15th. What is the deal with this?
EBgames and Gamestop both have pushed the ship date back to the 11th. It appears now that the release date will actually be the 12th. I must say that if the totalgaming.net version comes up today, but the regular release version comes out late, I will not be pleased. Why even release to retailers if retail customers are going to be treated like 2nd class citizens?
Why did these two major retailers push the ship date back to August 11th? Did the game ship today or not?
